This is the most scenic view that one would get on the Pachal malakapur road. What green mountains with windmills. One of the mountains was renamed by my kids as kiwi cream cake. The windmills were so close we just stopped to find a pathway towards it. Even the Anuskura ghat route is awesome especially the lake view. Google tries send you on a shorter route via Rajapur railway station phata, but I followed your instructions and came out at pachal kolhapur fata near Oni. Thank you again

Google had taken me thro anuskura to devgad in 2021, it was a hell of journey, tho the ghat is good, the villages after the ghat are totally broken...took me 2.5 hours to cross 40km only , exhausted on reaching kunkeshwar....

From Kara’s onwards to Goa which route do you suggest? I would prefer a safe and less tricky route as travelling with family….

Take the the same route if you are starting from Mumbai or Pune
Mumbai Pune Satara Karad Malkapur Anuskura Ghat Then Rajapur Kankawli Goa Best route
Start early morning from Home like 4 or 5 AM and Carry lott of watar and Carry away food stuff
Before entering Ghat Section please have some decent Food at Karad or Satara Highway Side
Ghat is Full on Scenic but be careful of Twist and Turns
There's one more option Mumbai Pune Satara kolhapur Gaganbawda Ghat and then Kankavali Goa
Gaganbawda Ghat is not in good shape now
Only thing is that its Rolling Traffic there
It goes through Kolhapur City Traffic

I traveled to Goa this month.. Super smooth roads but only at 1 point i guess Kudal or Kankavli they have put deadly speed breakers on the highway on a slope where we approach with high speeds. Thats a dangerous thing especially at nights
