Thank you so much for watching. Immortality is something that has sparked imaginations for centuries, from the philosophical and scientific genius of Isaac Newton, to others more sinister… With that in mind, why not read the article on the Blood Countess on our website now, by guest author, Amy from Amy’s Crypt. There you can find out more about her exploration of the castle where different, darker, immortality experiments were said to have been conducted... www.paranormalscholar.com/elizabeth-bathory-ghosts-of-the-blood-countess/

One of the many ironies of the Philosopher's Stone is that Newton obtained historical immortality through his work on the subject. Another irony is that most students remember him for an apple which is close to the shape of the Stone that landed on his head that lead to his gravity theories.

I met someone a few years ago, someone who scared me based on his actions and what he said,a story that I’ve heard somewhere but only snippets I remember ,but he talked about “a seed but not a seed,a stone red in colour but not a stone a woman’s kiss a cloud the air I breath…” etc…he went on with the description saying it was that but not but all of that and then more of this and that also saying that it could do whatever you wanted go wherever you wanted or for instance heal a planet replace all that was used make it new fresh and clean like it was from the beginning, his story was more elaborate and detailed than what I wrote and what he did during the time he recited his story but he did mention how he gave it to someone to hide then blocked his memory till it was time for him to leave with it and use it as a key to go into a “place”…the man scared the hell out of me so much that it’s like it was last week I heard him tell that story and it’s been over 10 years now,I know he never left yet with it,it’s still here as is he looking searching for it,his “spaceship” is complete waiting……..

The Buddhist monks took it to acheive Rainbow body. They claim it will superconduct at your body temperature making it unnecessary to eat and need very little water to sustain and slows aging. Unlike Jesus, we have found their fleshly remains, as for their souls...only God knows. You have to come to the Father on His terms, not yours!

And Jesus is considered to be the way to eternal life or immortality. Fame leads to immortality , if you are well known after you die the legend of you continues forever. I've heard it said,"As long as people are talking about you (after death) , you are still alive." If one takes the worthless ,embarassing, painful experiences of one's life and transform them into art (say writing your life story, your legend) that art will live on for long after you are dead. Also interesting to note, there is a combination of philosophy and theosophy known as Theosophy which a lot of artists ascribe to .
One's legend can even become a type of religion, think idols worshipped long after they die. Like the cross, which is a real solid thing one can hold in his hand , and a representation of the life and death of Jesus, maybe the philosopher's stone is the same. A material object which represents the idea of transformation.

Better than fame ,or infamy, is reincarnation. The eternal return. Energy being recycled , a soul can come back as a person or an animal, or a number of creatures , after the soul explodes out in all directions (the energy within us cannot be created nor destroyed so it's always been since the beginning (the Big Bang ) (see antimony) and will live on for eternity. Unless there is an Armageddon , and /or Judgement day, but that idea seems more far fetched to me (God is love, no judgement. Well, I don't know , maybe one can love someone and still judge them, like my Mom does with me ,lol.) than reincarnation.

It is written; It is appointed unto man once to die, after death, judgement.
      Hebrews 9:27
Rather, better than fame, infamy, is eternal life. That is what is promised to those who are good stewards with the life they have been given. We are charged with this one truth, and that is what compels us to live the best life towards others that we can possibly give.
It is a true saying, God is love, but like you mother, love is judgement in some circumstances. How are we to become better stewards if we are not assessed from time to time. Judgement is not meant to break down the person, but to build a better one. Those lessons should carry on to your children, and so on, long after the original judgement was given.
If you think about it, we judge certain acts whether done to us or others (good or bad) all the time, it is built into our nature. These assessments must be done throughout society or we would have pandemonium.
One could argue that judgement stands apart from reincarnation, or perhaps, it was purposefully instilled in us by our Creator to lead us to him, knowing we have but one life to live in our bodies, after that, we will be assessed for the deeds done while here.
Regardless, I pray a wondrous and fruitful life to you and yours, and hope this finds you well!
Blessings and genuine laughter to you Anastasia! Thanks for the reply!

I first found out about the connection between alchemy and the beginnings of modern sciences in high school chemistry class. And of course, with the latest Wizarding World film having Newt Scamander going to meet Nicolas Flamel, one of the few master alchemists who created a true Philosopher's Stone, this mini documentary is quite timely.

...could the stone be like fire? Conquering all and vanquishing all? Smelling good and smelling bad? What you burn does matter what ur burning....but not just that. I though the whole reason time moved slower the closer u were to gravity was becomes the gravity was weighing heavy on u slowing everything down in weight not in actual time

What's most important to understand is the "science" of that day had no obvious boundaries and there was no clear difference of "theological" from "philosophical" knowledge. Alchemical studies were the ONLY source of chemical information in existence. It wasn't until an alternate scientific chemistry was established through work independent from alchemical processes had been developed in the late 1700's to early 1800's. Our contempt of alchemy is totally a function of our post 1700's/1800 point of view where we have genuine alternative knowledge and a clear belief that "theological truth" IS something different from "philosophical truth". It is pointless to mock beliefs and speculations of science in it's infancy from a vantage point of science of greater maturity.

But isn’t the stone capable of turning anything into anything? Or is that just in Fullmetal? They can already turn something into something of equal value in that show, and that is how magic works in other things I believe (Harry Potter? Molly says it or something?), so it’s not like transmutation is a stone only thing

It’s hard hearing an English person talking about the philosopher’s stone and not thinking about Harry Potter. If it was an American accent or whatever you call that because it’s in Canada too, I’d think about Fullmetal. The dub. And brotherhood.
I wouldn’t be able to understand a Japanese person because I don’t know the language and there’s no subs in real life.

Gravity, Magnetic fields, pressure. We can create diamonds in a lab now, yet they are lab created diamonds but they still go for a pretty penny. The most insane thing is Newton was right in that aspect, which it does require a Machine and can't be hand harnessed atleast not yet... haha. The issue at hand is nobody now days would call a lab created diamond a real diamond, but back then oh yeah it was game time LOL.
