Indeed. I've seen so many people insist that you should not even sprint during this mission which is so cringe. Just imagine, John almost lost his buddies on the way to Micah and of course he wants to avenge Arthur so why would he walk like a snail? This man's speedrun is how i think John would do that.

Ignoring the missed shots with the third guy in the beginning, this was the most perfect run of American Venom I've seen yet. There are plenty of people who've gone through with no damage taken and didnt use deadeye, but this actually looked good.

This is exactly why we need a show, imagine this scene shot faithfully and John just tearing through Micah’s army to get to him. It would be so climactic and epic

This is so incredibly satisfying. When I first played this, I remember that, as soon as listened to the first chords of the first game’s main theme, I was already in tears. From that moment on, it was personal. I was going to avenge the man who gave his life for mine and nothing would stop me. These games are storytelling masterpieces.
Easily the most emotional and intense I’ve felt while playing a video game in as long as I can remember.

Hell yeah my man packing the Schofield. Always was my favorite revolver in both games. In my game I was rocking dual Schofields with a yin and yang color scheme, one was black and white and the other was white and black.
For my schofields I went for blued steel and nickel engravings, then a nickel cylinder with blued steel engravings with the engraving glitch. I love em and I think they're a beautiful pair of guns
I like the Schofield because it's the model of gun Landon Ricketts gave John in RDR1, and Landon Ricketts was the man.
Definitely one of my most favorite guns myself. For sidearms I use the Schofield the most, along with the sawed off and volcanic pistol. And that color scheme of Yin and Yang sounds like my kinda shit. That symbol is very significant to me.

I love the dynamic switching between different guns, hipfiring and aiming down sights.
RDR2 deserves all the praise it’s got, the graphics, story, music, atmosphere… it’s the closest to the title of ‘perfect game’.
I feel like it’s time to start another playthrough though it’s been a while.
It deserves less praise for what it did to John, since in the first game he talks about his past self as if he was worse and more brutal then his 1911 self, but in the second game we see none of that

To this date ,this the most immersive and graphically evolved game i have ever seen
Just imagine how terrified Micah was.
And endless barrage of shots, coming closer and closer to you, while hearing a guy shouting stuff at you. Then you see him, and he's unharmed. Not even a bruise. Just by far one of the coolest missions in RDR2.
Too bad when John finally gets to him he just gets pinned down behind a crate until Sadie magically appears to help

When I played this for the first time, when the music started after John says “when I’ve got something to take care of, sure” str8 goosebumps. What a ride this game is.
Man this is insane, I love it. Marston theme and the lore accurate shooting only makes it better.
i actually appreciate this video all the more now because it actually shows what great mkb skills with maverick patch looks like without aimbot assist. the only channel that does this is as well is sBV. let people talk shit, this was pure skill.
Wish we had mods in console or at least Rockstar could release a patch and fixed Jonh and the gunplay, but that was years ago...

I love the echos from the guns. The detail in this game is absolutley insane. This also makes me want rdr2 as a movie, even though it basically is one already

Yeah, just me. The greatest moment in gaming history, in any western ever made. This is pure genius story telling.
One can't fully appreciate how magnificent this moment is unless you play the rest of the game and fully immerse yourself in it, so you feel the same sense of rage and intensity as John in this moment. Rockstar created something truly legendary with this game.
And everytime you watch the Jim Milton or these scenes, you get the ghost of that same feeling but you just know it hits way harder going through it all

This is incredible dog. I’m so impressed as someone whose just now picking the game back up for the first time since 2019 when it dropped and I rushed through it, I don’t think I’ve ever seen such an impressive accomplishment in game

Don't know if someone's said this before, but just in case:
You can actually use the number keys to switch between different weapons.
1 to equip your offhand sidearm
2 to equip both sidearms
3 to equip your normal sidearm
4 to unequip a weapon (Twice to holster a long weapon)
5 to equip a melee weapon, or anything previously equipped in that slot (e.g A lantern)
6 to equip a weapon on your back
7 to equip a throwable (e.g Lasso, throwing knives)
And 8 to equip a weapon on your shoulder.
Again, I haven't really checked to see if someone's posted this before, but just in case, you can use these keybinds to have more fluid gameplay without the weapon wheel popping up.

When you’re playing through the game as Arthur, you kind of put John to the side. You tend to forget this man is far, far more dangerous than he puts on. Playing as John during the mission is like getting into your old car after you wreck your new one. It’s older, sure, but you fit perfectly, and she roars just the same.
Imagine Micah's mind at this moment.
Just living a pleasant day in your house on top of the mountain when suddenly you hear gunshots.
You look outside and see the silhouette of the boy you murdered 8 years ago, single-handedly taking down his entire gang with nothing but a revolver, gunpowder and pure rage.
You grab your weapons and prepare at the door until you hear the voice of the boy you never respected and assumed had been dead for years shout,
"It's John Marston, Micah!"
You realize that this is not a spirit resurrected from the dead, but a man who wants to avenge his brother, and thus is born the John we know in RDR1.

Red Dead Redemption 2 is an absolute masterpiece, the story is one of the most powerful ones I have ever seen in a game, Arthur Morgan is the best protagonist created by Rockstar Games, he has so much depth, you really feel like your on the journey with him throughout the game, the open world, man you could spend hours upon hours exploring the gorgeous world, no game since has come close to it in my opinion, even 4 years on the game still is a joy to play, Rockstar Games best game and my personal favorite game of all time, a timeless classic 👏👏👏👏 American Venom! Man that mission with the soundtrack, the most epic mission I have ever played in any game, perfection ❤
