OK - question time. I've often wondered - if a chicken lays an egg every day (& I'm sure not all chickens do) would you know how long it takes to 'create' an egg with it's shell from start to finish - till it 'pops out'? I can't imagine the forming of the shell and what's inside can be created within a whole day haha

Depending upon the breed, some chickens can, in their prime lay an egg almost every day. There are several wonderful CZcams videos about the formation of an egg, and how long it takes for a hen to lay one.

I know exactly who you are darling! Lololol I personally do not think there is a taste difference....however....the eggs from ducks and turkeys are higher in protein. Some people do find them to taste eggier.
