RobbyH5 facts tho, I mean don't get me wrong it got interesting cause I thought that huey, Riley and grandad was gonna get out of debt but they never got to finish that story they never got out of debt, I feel like they cheated on us with less episodes cause they cut it short with 10 eps when the other 3 seasons had 15 eps at best and the fact that they fired Aaron mcgruder It was a big mistake tbh they could of gave him time but they asked to much from mcgruder he could only handle what he can and they expected more from him and faster pace from him just for the air date and next thing you know they fired him cause of just that, like c'mon seriously? We could of waited longer i rather wait for Aaron work to be finish in his own pace then to just have many ppl Write different random ass stories that don't make me sense, it would definitely be worth waiting for I tell you that

Season 4: The funeral of one of the best and underappreciated cartoons ever
I think S2 was the best season but S3 is definitely 2nd for me.

To me season 1 will always be the best because of how political and social it was. It's what makes the show special to me. Sure, season 2 and 3 didn't stop tackling on important issues, but they toned it down A LOT and started doing much more parodies, especially in season 3. Not to say that those seasons are bad, but they're just not as good as season 1

When I first saw this trailer I was so hype. The wait was too long for season 4 to come out in my perspective. By the time the season was over I was extremely dissatisfied. Thugnificent wasn't there, Gangstalicous wasn't there, A pimp named Slickback wasn't there, Cindy wasn't there, Not even Ed the third and Gin Rumy were there. Almost all of my favorite Boondocks characters were gone without a trace, and there were only TEN fucking episodes!!! If they ever make a fifth season of the boondocks, I hope all the characters are there and I want the show to be run by the most important person of the series

They never even finished the story for season 4. Granddad just sold their freedom to Eddie Wuncler and they never got it back. The episodes were fucking bullshit and there were only TEN of them, FUCKING TEN! the only episodes I liked were the ones where they were making bombs out of hair, the stinkmeaner one and the episode where Granddad was a freedom rider.Bottom line is that this season sucked ass and they need to make a fifth season with Aaron Mcgruder to make up for this one.

I can definitely see where and how not having McGruder's influence is affecting this, but I can also see how collectively more modern and contemporary its subject matter seems to pull from because of it.

Boondocks is a gem among cartoons, by far the best thing on Adult Swim. Never have I heard more relevant social commentary gathered together in one place than in a single Boondocks cartoon. Brilliantly conceived, flawlessly executed. Riley is completely good, he is the conscience of the show. His little brother is such a brat, LOL! Grand-dad is so funny, and Uncle Ruckus is shocking but hilarious. Hats off to Boondocks, they could teach Peter Griffin a thing or two. Aw, but I still love ATHF as well, LOL!

I have to say, without Aaron Mcgruder, I feel that the show will have lost what it wanted to portray when he was still on this show. Compared to season 1 and season 2 the animation has gotten a whole lot better. That's one of the reason why I like The Boondocks and The Legend of Korra because the animation technique is a lot more smoother and cleaner than most of the other American cartoons out right now. I wish more 2d animated shows looked like this, too many cartoons look like Adventure Time now. I'm not saying its a bad thing but, it's nice to have a serious animated show from time to time. From this trailer you can already see that without Aaron Adult Swim has gone a different path from what the original 3 seasons were about. I just hope it's not filled with stupid stuff each episode just to boost ratings.

I like how the seasons focuses on a specific problem or topic opposed to it being all over the place though. This could lead to more seasons as they will be able to go down different paths depending on the ending if this season. The show got canceled because Sony bought the boondocks and put to much pressure on the show because Sony said they had to write 3 episodes a week and the creator said he can’t so then he got fired so the show and season 4 did air but got bad feedback so it’s rare to see a clip of it

I knew the minute I heard about this it would be different then the previous three seasons. However, that being said it doesn't necessarily mean its a bad thing. I watched every boondocks episode, even the unaired ones. I think due to nostalgia people tend to remember the show being alot funnier then it actually was. Not that I'm saying it didn't have great epodes because it did. But some of the episodes were more designed to send a message then make people laugh. The Martin Luther King episode for example. This episode was laugh out loud funny, but it did send the message across pretty well. Plus it was nice to see an episode that focused on Tom for a change. Hell even Ruckus got a couple of episodes that were centered solely around him. At the end of the day, I think the new writers haven't done anything to warrant as nearly as high as a reaction as some of the fans of McGruder have been giving it. This is the final season, after this there won't be anymore. So lets not sit and complain about something is never going to be like how it originally started and try to see the good in it. That being said, if the episode is just bad there won't be any con doing it. But this episode wasn't bad, it wasn't the best boondocks episode i've ever seen. But it was far missing the mark.
Same voice actors, same production...just no Aaron McGruder. And that is NO reason why people are trash talking a 1 minute and 45 second trailer -_-. I'm fangirling the fuck OUT right now lmao I'm counting down the hours for this.
