Such a great song. I love old cold wave.
I need that black hat of his, I’ve been searching for one for years
I'm a huge fan of this music. Wonder what they are up to nowadays
I CANNOT LIKE THIS ENOUGH.
Thanks glad you enjoyed it, also have another green world video on too. Will place a new one on soon. Best wishes Luchie
Oh my godness, the song is good
I have never heard of this band before and came here on accident because I was looking for a song by Echo & the Bunnymen. But I really, really like this. Have those guys ever released anything?
They only released 7" records when they were around but now you can get an LP collection, Alternative Strategies, through Minimal Wave.
Amazing song and video.
my fave song
priceless m8, priceless, great track , then & now.. roll those memories !!!
I fuckin love this song so much
Wow I'd listened to grey skies before and was a huge fan but I'd never seen this. I guess I never bothered to research them much further after finding grey skies as usually these old minimal wave artists are untraceable. Fantastic actually seeing someone from the band!!

Turquoise Days - Alternative Strategies (LP)
Minimal Wave presents a full length album by synthpop band Turquoise Days from Jersey, Channel Islands, originally formed by Luciano Brambilla and David Le Breton. They self-released many cassettes, as well as the renowned masterpiece Grey Skies / Blurred 7".Their music can be described as melodic, emotive new wave. 180 gram white vinyl and comes in a matte heavyweight jacket designed by Phil Yamada accompanied by a matching 18"x 18" poster.
Great, thanks so much for posting these. Both are amazing. Made a young/new fan out of me.
Wouldn't happen to have a copy of the Grey Skies 7" (or anything else for that matter) laying around, would you?
Bit of wishful thinking on my part. Thanks again!
great upload.
“Grey Skies by Turquars Days”
brilliant
Where is your extended edit, I would like to hear it?
You're a legend and a genius. I'm originally from Rio Cuarto, Cordoba, Argentina and I came upon your music some 15 years ago with my mates. I bet we were the only five people in such town who even knew you. Now with CZcams you are reborn. Have you ever thought your music could go as far in time and geographic distance? Well, it did. Cheers!
Here’s a new 2020 interview with Luchie from Turqoise Days.
