Thank you for sharing about the sacred hoop of the Lakota and the connection to what you have taught us about the winter hexagon. The Lakota also have the concept of ʼAs above so belowʼ (Kapemni), so the sacred hoop also reflects their sacred lands, the Black Hills on earth. They travelled each year to different sacred sites to do their ceremonies. For them, there is a star gate in the center of the Big Dipper, where newborns and the deceased travel to and from the earth. The star connection to earth and the stargates you discussed are fascinating, and it is interesting to see how our ancient Celtic traditions are similar in many ways to those of some Indigenous tribes.

I really liked the comparison of the celtic sky and the Lakota sky, I am in Australia so I often wonder how it also affects the southern skies, are we opposite or are we the same in the skies but different in the seasons🤔☺The carvings related to the skies was astounding to me. Thanks for the knowledge learned and connections with our past
