Absolutely beautiful voices performing at their best. Tributes to the original artist are like the First Aid Kit trademark. Sometimes all you need is Two great voices and some guitar. Purity of a true sound sometimes gets lost in two much production values and layering. Sometimes “Less is More “ and all you need to do is record Live pure true and simple.

They aren’t amateurs, they have had their own band for a decade
They have 5 albums under their belt, 2 of them Gold (BPI). Also 4 EPs, a live album, several tours of Europe and North America and have made many TV appearances.
I’ve never been a fan of Christie or her singing style. These girls make me like the song soo much more.
Saw them at Hammersmith Apollo..we were so disappointed with sound ,the backing band were over powering drowning out there beautiful voices..When they sang without them it was perfect
Sorry to say I agree, the new Band doesn’t do justice to these lovely songs. But this is only my opinion, and what do I know anyway?

Christine passed away on the 30th November. This tribute was learnt and performed just two days later at the next FAK show.

"I like Gram". How did you guess! I have been a big fan all my life really and it was listening to the lyrics of FAK's most famous song that caught my attention to them all those years ago. I even wore my Flying Burrito Brothers t shirt to the shows.
