"Higan" is located in a quiet corner of Roppongi.
Located behind the National Art Center, Tokyo, it's hard to believe that it's located in the center of Roppongi, and it's tucked away on a quiet street corner.
This restaurant, run by the owner, Mr. Chida, serves affordable lunches that can be enjoyed for around 1,000 yen during the day, and kappo courses that are basically omakase dishes at night.
For the evening omakase course, you can let us know your preferred ingredients, special requests, and allergy information when making your reservation.
There are only counter seats inside the store, so you can enjoy watching Mr. Senda demonstrate his skills right in front of you.
Although it has a clean and calm atmosphere, the store has a warm atmosphere, perhaps due to Mr. Senda's simple and kind personality, where you can relax and enjoy a special moment.
After graduating from high school in Yokote City, Akita Prefecture, the owner, Mr. Senda, immediately enrolled in a culinary school, and then spent over 20 years training as a chef at a famous hotel in Tokyo.
The restaurant focuses on Japanese cuisine using fresh seafood and seasonal vegetables, and you can enjoy each luxurious dish made with plenty of high-quality ingredients such as abalone, salmon roe, and sea urchin.
You can also enjoy sake from Senda's hometown, Yokote City, Akita Prefecture.
Mr. Senda, who was born in Akita, a rice-producing region, and is also a sake master, has a selection of Japanese sake that he has personally selected, and you can often find rare sake that is hard to find.
Enjoy the luxury of enjoying once-in-a-lifetime ingredients and alcohol that can only be found here, right in front of the chef. You can enjoy an exceptionally delicious time in a private space unique to a small shop.
