- On 27 April, six madrasa students aged between 9 and 16 reportedly bludgeoned their Imam, Mohammed Mahir, to death following allegations of sexual assault in Rajasthan's Ajmer. The incident has shaken Ajmer, increased the demand for security of the city's madrasas and mosques, including mandatory registration of these institutions. Women should be educator for children .
