BMSC Plateau or the New Plateau is a route that has arose due to BLSS. I started making this tutorial around a month after it was found, but I was very busy and it took a lot of time to make. Fast-forward to now, it's finally completed and I'm thrilled to share it with you. I hope this video helped you learn to speedrun this amazing game.

I was able to take out my switch and do the whole plateau this way in an hour while following along. Hopefully I can get some sub 20 plateau runs. Thanks!

Very nice tutorial, I do two things differently. To enter cryonis I use esc and to reach Cryonis I do the btb. The Blss to Cryonis is more consistent so I might switch to it.
esc is faster but a more advanced strat so i didn’t include it. blss is actually faster than btb and easier in this case

I find it pretty easy to windbomb again after the first one in the bomb shrine, much quicker
Finally did it. It was a nightmare to Cryonis as I can't control BLSS and found out you can't just go back down and get the Warm Doublet xD so but I managed to get to Cryonis with a veryy slow BLSS.

This tutorial is AMAZING. I’ve learned up to the stasis shrine but I’ve been struggling with the blss to cryonis. I keep freezing to death and I am struggling to control the blss. I also just stop randomly and fall. If anyone has any advice that would be very appreciated. Great tutorial.

Very helpful, thanks. The only thing I wasn't able to do is to get in the last shrine before dying. The game saved automatically when I arrived at the mountain with the shrine, so dying was not a big deal. Does the game always save there?
saves are pretty inconsistent with this plateau route so i don’t think so

Is the version of skew clip you used (using weapon throw) or the one you told us (hold forward + a, hit x) better? I'm having difficulty with the first.
@@minemagicplayz using weapon throw is just to set the angle. the reason i never left it is to shield surf as soon as possible for a slight optimization that’s more advanced for a beginner

i've tried so many times to get the SOR clip, but I couldnt get a single clip (not even pull my scope). Im using the exact setup you showed, but nothing.... What could i be doing wrong? Maybe my version of the game is different, that could influence?
I noticed that there is a spot a little to the right of the normal spot that I can pull out the scope, but i also didnt get any clip and to do that i have to change the setup angles
Plz someone help me, i hate watching the initials cutscenes
make sure you have already pulled the scope out prior to trying to clip and be sure to use the exact cues for the camera and link’s direction

yes! it’s still the fastest and easiest route
How much time does the double blss lose compared to the single blss?
from my timings just now it was only 3 seconds slower, but if you blss extremely well it would probably be closer to 5 seconds
I can't seem to control where I go when I do BLSS so I go wherever :( BTW your video is great! :) Your simplicity is so understandable!

ROFL same. I have to opt for the slow blss shown in the vid. And is it normal the BLSS literally reach the speed of sound instantly? When I do it goes waay faster than the max speed you shown in this video

fosbury flopping in cryonis is easy and saves time you can just easily go over the fence and very quick Approved as not click bait

What does the old man say in French after you get done with the first shrine? I want to write a story about King Rhoam's POV of Link during a speedrun, but I don't speak French and I suck at shield clipping.

He starts out by saying " I see you got your first Spirit Orb" and Link's first dialogue responses are "how did you know?!" or "Paraglider, please?" in which King Rhoam responds Wait I need to tell you a story he tells you of the Shrines coming from the Ancient Sheikah.
Then he tells you to survey the area by climbing back up on top of the Great Plateau Tower. Link responds either "Are you joking?!" or "Got it!".
King Rhoam proceeds to say "wait, I want to show you something. Take out your Sheikah Tablet". He says "you should be able to teleport to this shrine and on top of the top of Great Plateau Tower, or so it is said."

I bought my capture card 8 months ago but have not used it for speedrunning like how i meant to. But now i am starting to do the small fun categories in botw so i can slowly do any% hopefully it will make me better at speedrunning botw 2. Unless Nintendo patches everything
Nintendo will likely patch some things but also the items in the game may be different so some glitches are just straight up impossible
yo bro ik it has nothing to do with the video but for ledge windbombs i cant do them even tho i align the bombs and explode the circle one first but it just makes me go down and fall im on version 1.60 is that why?
no windbombs work on 1.6 but i can’t tell you why it failed because it could be many things

When I do it the pot isn't inside of his body it's stuck on the outside of his hand
I am having trouble with the temple of time blss I have been trying to do it for a day and the pot keeps smashing and I know it’s because of the alignment but I don’t know how to fix it.

I know this is late, but I've seen every tutorial and don't understand the SOR clip.
I can NOT get links angle to go nearly southward enough before he falls off. I can't find another place to stand, I can't turn quickly and clip before he slides off, nothing works. He HAS to be facing at least a little eastward in order to not fall. Does anyone know of some kind of handcam, or a tutorial that covers how to get the angle instead of just telling me to get it?
turn the camera, not link. as you turn the camera keep him running into the corner

Any tips for fall damage cancel. I keep messing up and don't know what I'm doing wrong I'm letting go of the throw button and equipping the shield and still taking damage
if you’re not seeing the spear move at all then you’re probably pressing d-pad too early

The windbomb to Stasis is definitely the easiest part of Great plateau xD.
I had a way harder time clipping and especially blss

Great tutorial mate. Learned a bunch. Although would been great if you left out some details like how(why?) the glitches work(leave a little to fantasy as to how they work) personal prefernce but I understand you have to appeal to the broader audience rather than the individual.
what position do you have your hands in for starting BLSS? I have the pot and bow in links hands but i cant seem to get the timing right for the Jump, B, Plus sequence. i dont think what im doing is quick enough but i dont know what else i could do
you’re probably aiming too far left when in bow aim, try to aim at the corner of the ledge you jump onto

Hi guys New speedrunner here what is the best sensitivity for glitches
sensitivity doesn’t matter for glitches but having the highest sensitivity is usually best so you can quickly change the camera and not wait for it to move in the direction you want it to go
I think I'll just use the back buttons on my 8bitdo. Claw grip looks like a medical condition in the making.

@@user-gb2ue1uy4t i’ve used PowerA controllers before but they’re very clunky and the buttons press weird. i would recommend the official nintendo pro controller. they are more expensive but the quality is so much better if your budget allows for it

The problem with all the speedruns is that they require glitches or "metagaming" such as changing languages.
Are there any glitchless, no metagaming, switch runs?
Of course they will be slower but it's like a different game with different requirements so it isn't really comparable.
