Having opened M2 for detailing, I noticed that some of them USED to have opening hood. Somehow they decided that open hood was not it and they casted "rivets" in the hood and then just put them in place by piercing the surface under where the engine should be. By rivets, I mean, the same thing as Hotwheels rivets. So yeah. Seems they decided that sometimes they'd make one with an opening hood and with an engine and sometime not.

"Heheh" indeed, Royce--LOL! Cool find. I've never seen the Chevrolet car carriers at my Walmart, just the Dodges and Plymouths, so lucky for you!
Those thick door sills on the Camaro are just awful. I kept thinking, "I hope he takes it apart and files it down to make it thinner or paints it black to give it the illusion that it's not so thick."

M2 models are very detailed for their price. I have noticed though, that parts "fall" off of them pretty easily and quite often.

M2 had great colors and castings but quality sometimes is lacking.
