Hell yes. They keep ticks away and they are better than guard dogs.
They can warn you when predators or strangers are around but they can be noisy

These are extremely noisy though.
I reckon you’re right- make good alarms & insect exterminators-males have a very different sound to the females- very hard to tame
@@poultrypete_ alarm is fine, but my guineas scream like crazy for hours for absolutely no reason! 😡
