Ren is awesome! He can't actually eat most food because of damage to his immune system, caused by chronic Lyme Disease, which was misdiagnosed for about 8 years! He almost died from it. A lot of his music is about his medical and mental health struggles, so it's helpful to know more about his life.
He showed on a video he had a plate with some meat and some root vegetables sliced up. He said these few things are the only food he can eat, only a handful. It is a super strict paleo diet, those handful of foods don't give him inflammation.

Man i love seeing people getting excited when they hear Ren. Its an addiction at this point.
Ren is a once in a lifetime artist.

He developed mast cell issues (MCAS) while battling Lyme disease which can cause a response similar to an allergic reaction to many foods, among other things. His diet is pretty limited right now. But he also mentioned that after a few takes the food was cold and gross lol.
Sadly the only thing he could eat were the mushy peas… I’m not from the UK, but being able to eat fish & chips would be devastating.

I will be forever amused by how many (especially male) reactors comment on the food with some kind of "Bruh! That looks so good and you didn't even EAT it!!" 😂 Ironically I don't think he can eat fish and chips (and mushy peas) due to acquired allergies.

Great reaction, Z! Hey, when you’re scrolling through Ren’s material, don’t forget his band, The Big Push. As an introduction to them I’d suggest the single-shot live acoustic take of SWEET LITTLE LADY. The music video version is excellent as well and is my favorite of the two, but the live acoustic version tells you a lot more about the band mates.

Told you he ain’t playing in this tune. He produced it too. Even that nee-nee-nee is a sample of his own vocal which has just been pitch shifted. There’s a live version which has its own vibe, very diff but just as good. Subscribed.

'There hasn't been one song yet....' I've dug down deep through what I call Ren & Friends and I've yet to be disappointed, not everything is *OMFG* but none of it will leave you wishing you hadn't, just wait till you start digging deeper, you've only scratched the easy itches so far.
