Everytime I see an electrical installation in the USA or UK I want to cry and run away, why you guys have zero installation standards? It seem's electricians over there are allowed to throw cables, outlets and even breaker boxes all over the place. Breaker boxes under the ceiling, cables directly nailed on a beam under the roofinsulation.. dude this is very strange. This is not a criticism, I just don't understand why this is allowed. Even these single conductors in pipes and stuff, this was common in 1930 over here in Germany. I don't know what you think about this, but if there were a uniform standard across Europe, it would save a lot of money and resources.
