Casey Jones popping up reminded me of the time i watched TMNT in college in 2001... my friend had to threaten to tape my mouth shut as i know that movie... verbatim. Nice cast. while I agree about Zhang Ziyu being good, Chiaki Kuriyama( Gogo from Kill Bill vol1) to play Karai, as for the Shredder, I would go with the Sho Kosougi (the legendary actor and ninjitsu practitioner from various 80s ninja films, he was the final boss in Ninja Assasin)

After seeing the trailer for the movie, I can safely say that I...am slightly conflicted. On one hand, they've kept the turtles the same. In terms of personalities, masks and weaponry. But they're far too big, even for mutant standards and the nostrils...seriously creep me out. Also, I am VERY uncomfortable about Shredder's character in this. I can let the race matter slide. But his introduction in the movie is all wrong, same with the Foot ninja. They're a ninja clan, not some military strike force. If anything, I'm gonna be like ERod and put it on my "Blacklist." I won't watch it in theater, rent it, download it on stream or even catch it on TV; if it's as bad as it currently looks

April annoys me, the robots annoy me, I find the action okay, and the animation is alright, but overall, I'm not impressed by this just yet, but I usually give a show a 5 episode test, I guess i am abit spoiled by the 2003 series (the tone and the action was great, loved the lost season the ninja tribunal which is online on tmntuploads channel) what are your thoughts on the show?
