Love this idea. My name is Stormie . Your very talented . I love how you give alot of detail on how to make an item and the tips you give to help those watching. Thank you.
I'm so happy I found your CZcams channel! You're very talented, and an excellent instructor because you're clear and your use of the camera is excellent! It's so helpful to find a good communicator with obvious talent!!
Well thank you very much 😁👍
I’ve been waiting on someone to make a video like this . Thank you !!!
Wow I never ever would have thought that you could just saw it like that! Thank you!!
Im a big fan if your learnings CZcams . Just shared to my page too. Thank you for doing this. I made my daughter's name Amirah 2 years ago. It was too thin the metal i used. So i had to saw another piece n soldered the 2 pieces together lol. So much work but it was a beautiful piece i made for her. I wished i saw your video then lol.
I absolutely love your videos! I’ve been watching them from the beginning and have learned sooo much🤗💕🌸
This is a great, intricate sawing video. Thanks for all the pointers.
Thanks and I'm working on another sawing video as I type this 😁👍
Ive always wondered how the ebay sellers handmaded those custom necklaces and now I know! Thank you for this very comprehensive and professionally made video! 😊 I was wondering if you were yourself selling jewelries or this is simply a hobby of yours?? Thanks a bunch hihi :)
So neat! Thank you for sharing!
Thank you for this! Very helpful.
tunning! I always wondered how this worked. Thank you!
can you make a list of all the supplies you used?
Yes please
I’m taking jewelry class in high school and this video helped a lot thank you
Thanks for making this, I've always wanted to see how these types of necklaces are made so this is nice :)
Great video, Randy - and boy, do you have some mad sawing skills! This is so far beyond my abilities. I think I would focus more on learning how to cut these things out of metal clay with a Cricut!
You make it look so easy. I've used a jewelers saw before, and it's very tricky. You did a beautiful job. Thanks for the tutorial.
Well thank you and I do have a lot of time using a saw 😅
Excellent video. You are an excellent person. Thank you for sharing YOUR knowledge. Muchas gracias estimado AMIGO.
Thank you...all your info you share has helped me so much in South africa.
No problem 😊👍 I'm happy to help.
Great video Randy, thank you 👍
Very interesting video!!! Thank you so much!

Answer: Thank you very much and I'm happy you liked it. 😁👍
I am watching at 2.8k views. Is that close enough to win? This video brought me back to jewlery and metals class in middle school. I wish I saw this video back then because in the 90' s Nameplates were a must have.
Hey, I have already pick and sent out this to someone. I think a make this video about a year ago now and it's at 2.8k likes but over 100k views right now 😅👍
Stunning! I always wondered how this worked. Thank you!
No problem 😊
I love your work, description, kind voice, thank you so much, that was very educational, you fed my curiosity thank you so much
Awesome work man, I have a job now with 3 names to do and I'm thankful for this advice good sir🙏✌️
Dang, you're the name plate boss. Thank you for all your detailed tips!!!
Lol well thanks, I know I'm not the best in the world at making them but I can do them kinda fast and they look ok. 😁👍
Thanks for that trick for the "i". Great video. I do appreciate all of your videos.
Wow thank you. I just got a commission request for a name necklace and this will work for me…. Thank you. :)
No problem and happy to help

Before I did not know that how it make. Nicely done hard work.
Hi Randy
Can you please write down the list of the equipment that you are using
your channel truly deserves millions of subscribers. You are very talented and very gracious in showing us "mortals" how to do thisand many other projects you have posted.
Thank you very much for sharing. I am a new subscriber and I love all of your fantastic videos.
Best of wishes to you for prosperity and happiness.
Hey! Well thank you very much 😊 if you ever have questions or suggestions feel free to let me know. As if right now I read all of my comments on every video so I can keep in contact will people and help out. 😁👍
GomeowCreations
You are so kind!
I have been binge watching your videos :).
I am hooked! You also have a very pleasant voice.
I do have a question :)
I will post the question on another video I watched because it is pertinent to that one.
Hopefully you will see my comment 😊
Actually, you can also do this with Microsoft programs, Photoshop or any other writing program. The little rings can be adjusted later on, while making it.
Well yeah, this is just the program that I use to do it and design all of my work. 😊
I think I understood the video for the most part but can you make a video of how you clean it up? Like how you clean the edges and make it shiny? I got a bit lost there.
I make bracelets but I wanted to start making necklaces. I’m going to start using single letters first like you suggested.
Super...master job
I just entered the giveaway! Cant wait for the winner announcement yay! Ive shared the video on my social medias!!
Great job
Beautiful
Pretty awesome you got to 34k in the time you did.
Fantastic.
Do you make bespoke name rings too? Could you do a tutorial for that? Great channel! Very informative! So glad I found it 🙂
I've searched for this and i wanted to have this so bad using my own name i kenneetttt 😍

Amazing Job! I Started Watching This To Actually Do It Myself. But Than I Realized That I'm Not An Expert Yet 😂 It Ended Up Being An Entertainment Video

Amazing video.
Thanks!
Super helpful video. That's some true craftsmanship! Do you recommend using 1.15 mm thick plate as the best option? Do you work harden the 1.8mm thick plate?
Thanks. At 1.8mm it wouldn't matter if it was harded or not. I do suggest using a tumbler after making it to work harden it and clean it all up.
Thank you for sharing this great video! How long will take you to finish the name? ( just sawing )
Super
Thanks
You are my hero for Making this video
Hero might be a little to strong of a word but thank you 😁👍
GomeowCreations I don’t know if you remember me but I wrote to you when you first started your channel. So happy to see your growth. I would love to donate.
Can you tell me what gauge metal you used?
Omg nevermind. I see the thickness.
Maybe you can explain the hardness of the Metal, say if I used a sterling silver.
Hey, so I will be 100% honest but I don't remember 😅 I think mostly because I have now had thousands of comments so things get a little fuzzy, sorry about that. I'm happy to hear that you have been hear from the start.

Nice 👌
LOL That's my granddaughter's name! Take care:) Stay safe :)
Haha I was waiting for someone to say something like this 😊
@@GomeowCreations The twins are 10 so she got quite a kick out of seeing her name and having one over on her sister :D
Your tips are great.
Please can you give me the list of the tools used?
Thank you for your tutorials. Makes things easier for me to understand. But if I use copper or brass, does it my your skin turn green or are we allowed to shower with it ?
No problems and yes copper and brass will react with people's skin. I used these metals mostly to show off how to do things in videos seeing that they are cheap. When I make stuff for people it's normally silver, sealed metals or even plated so it will not react with people. 😊
Really great video!! Thank you so much.
How do I order for a personal design to be made?
Thank you so much for this video!!!! I am currently in Jeweler school (online) and I'm making a monogram pendant. This video was way more instructional & informative than my lessons instructions using jusat about the same material. I will definately be using the print out . Wayyy easier than scrbibig and hand drawing. What's the brand name of the 3/0 blade?? I need those ASAP. Thanks so much !!!!!!! Many Blessings to you.
Happy to be able to help and use these blades. bit.ly/NANOSawBlades I suggest ordering the 144 set of 3/0 blades or whatever size you need, it's the best value
@@GomeowCreations thanks so much! Will do.
Good job! What type of saw and blade did you use. Can you share a link to purchase the setup?
What brand blades do you recommend the last 2 batches I purchased are junk and break really fast even using Pepe Lube!
I have used these in the past and have had little to no problems amzn.to/344dX6w
I have also used these and they have been the best blades I have used ebay.to/2JxbMz2
What saw frame are you using?
GomeowCreations where did you get your saw frame?
That's beautiful - Amelia is my daughter's name. I use Inkscape so I'll definitely be looking at skillshare for that
what specific tools did you use and where dod you get them?
This is AWESOME I have wanted to do this for a while but I think my name would be really really difficult...lol Ja'Net (😕)
Haha yeah you might need to get creative with it or maybe do it in 2 parts and connect them together using a jump ring could be an interesting solution.
@@GomeowCreations lol ooooorrrr. Maybe leave the ' out and just do JaNet... 😳
чем сложнее задача, тем интересней искать решение ))
Hi, thank you! It has been amazing! One question: what kind of tool you use almost at the end to clean up the name, are they diamond drill?
I used these amzn.to/2W082gJ 😁👍
@@GomeowCreations Hmm, that’s coming up that that page can’t be found.
That might be due to that listing being over a year old 😅 I can find it again if you like
@@GomeowCreations That would be great, Randy, thanks!
I think those shortened links also expire after a while.
Nice
hi. thank you for this video. was trying to do this at home and been having trouble. the saw that I got keeps breaking so I am using a home depo saw is it going to work that same? its a wider saw type too.
Sadly no the thicker or wider saw will not work for this. Also that I know of Home Depot don't have the right saw blades for this at all.
Breaking saw blades is normal when you are learning. I suggest practicing a lot more before trying something with this much sawing. I do make this look very easy but it's because I have 100's of hours doing it. 😁👍
Hi, I really love this video. How clear it is. I would like to buy all the equipments in the video and went to your tool recommendation, however, there are so many on the list and it is hard to find the same tools in this video for completely beginner.. Could you please specified what tools are in this video if it does not bother you? Thank you so much!
What tools do you already have?
@@GomeowCreations Thank you for your reponse! I only do wire jewelries at the moment so I need to buy all of the tools from cutting, sanding. I went to your link and trying to search all of them but I assume they are not in same categories in your list so it is hard to tell what i should buy. Thank you so much for your help!!
Oh ok and are you on the United States? I will try to get a list together
@@GomeowCreations Hi, yes I am in the US. You are so sweet thank you so much!!!
Where do you get those stuff from to make it? I’m looking forward into making these
Oh boy, this might not be something to start with seeing that just using the saw to cut this out takes time to learn. I do make it look very easy in the video but I have years of time using the saw. 😅
Hey what’s the equipment and tools used? Where can I find the steel surface
nice video..! how you protect it from tarnishing ?
Thanks and we'll you can use a clean coat on it or even a clear resin might work too.
I physically cringed as you described cutting out the shape first and then piercing the holes. That is exactly something I would do!
Did I miss speak lol?
My mom’s name:) I did something similar...everything is fine...but the silver is very soft...what do you do in order to harden it? Thank you!
Hello, Great video! I've been trying to make pieces with my jeweller's saw and it just keeps sliding in the brass sheet and I'm getting nowhere fast. Even bees wax is no help. Do you have any suggestions, please? Thanks, M
Hi, I would like to know if the gold sheet you're using is stainless or wouldn't tarnish over time? I am considering on doing this, but I would like it to last longer and hold its beauty. Thank you
So I just used brass in this video so it will tarnish and it will make peoples skin turn green over time.
If you want something to hold up and not react with peoples skin you have to use silver and gold. You can plate cheaper metals like copper and brass with gold and silver, this will help be the plating will come off over time.
I hope that helps
GomeowCreations yes it was, thank you for explaining.
Hey there! What is the name and where can I find the smaller drill you used at around 24:00 mins? Could I use this drill to cut out the entire name instead of the saw?
So much hardworking?
Hi based on your experience, which one is easier to cut, brass sheet or copper sheet? Cause last time i find it hard to cut the copper plate with 1mm thickness.
Well, to me they are the same but I guess they could be different. Copper will be softer and easier to bend. Brass is a harder metal but it is a little harder to bend as you work. 😅 I do fined sawing to be easy on most metals so I'm not a good person to ask haha.
Question: so after cutting the name should I just through it in the magnetic tumbler . Second , if yes than after that what steps should I do ?
Les dejo un tip. Corten en ángulo en las partes que quedarán finas. Serán gruesas y fuertes en el dorso, pero de frente se veran finas. Pueden verlo en mi canal.
I love all your work. Can you tell me what is the gauge of the metal that you used for this ?
I don't remember but I think it was like 0.8mm thick
Hey. This is amazing. .
Just want to knw which buffing and polishing machin you use . .
This might be helpful czcams.com/video/g9hpfLlFJDU/video.html

Hi Randy. Is the text tool and illustrator program something I need to download? And also, where can I get these tools? ( High speed drill and the 200 grit, and metal sheets) Thanks in advance.
Yeah Illustrator is a program you would have to download and its not free, it's $21 per mouth. You can get a free program called InkScape to do the same thing.
You can get some drill bits here if you like pepetools.com/products/high-speed-steel-hss-drill?variant=31550287839364&aff=9

where do you buy quality metal sheets like that?
Great work! Please, what tool did you use to file the edges?
I have links to all the tools I used in this video in the description. 😁👍
Oh i want one my birthday is coming up and i really try to do that i cant afford that
How come you used bristle disks instead of sandpaper? Would the results be the same?
Amazing work! How much time does this sawing work take?
