On the topic of Homosexuality: For years I believed that you could not be born gay. I preached it and would never back down from my statements. All of that changed when the Lord showed me Psalm 51 where David says "In sin did my mother conceive me." From the moment of conception he was born into a sin nature. We all know that he lied, cheated, stole, murdered, and was an adulterer. But what if those weren't the sins of his nature? Who is to say that he couldn't have faced homosexuality instead? So could you be born gay? I think you could face a homosexual spirit from your youth yes. But Jesus said in John 3 that unless a man be BORN AGAIN, he shall not enter the kingdom of Heaven. Damon Thompson himself said it this way "You may be born that way, but you can't be born again that way."
Of course we are born with the ability to commit any sin. But our will lets is choose. If we are going to say people are born gay and I have no choice...we then have to apply that to every sin.
Chandler Roberson in actuality if you study the life of David’s father Jesse their is a high probability that Jesse committed adultery with David’s mother and she conceived him in sin. I’m not here to debate brother but either way I know many homosexuals that have be saved and totally delivered from this perverted spirit. I have counseled them and also asked many of them do you believe you were born this way all of them said the same thing. This is just a excuse to justify their lifestyle. All of them said it was a choice they made to to indulge in the lust of their flesh. Thank God for the Power of the Gospel to set us all free from the Power of Sin.

they don't care what, race, sexuality you have or what you wear. if you want to have a relasionship with God, then come get one and praise the Lord Jesus LIVING Christ!
@tpstrat14 Damon doesn't hate anyone like he said he hates the SIN not the sinner the same reason out parents hate the things we do sometimes but they don't hate us they hate what we do the same thing with God and this man of god he hates the devil and his deceit and lies not the people he tells his lies to....

I think most straight people know they're straight really young. I had my first crush in 1st grade. When you're gay it's different, because you're not given gay as an option as a kid,. If you haven't had a crush on a boy or male celebrity by age 11, you might just be gay. Good for you! You'll do fine either way.
Maybe you should spend some time reading "the scripture." You would see that it is not Damon that is against homosexuality exclusively but the bible i.e. God. He is not a religious bully but a believer in what God says. The truth is He cares enough to say what the bible has said about gay and lesbian people "they will not inherit the Kingdom of God." God is real, which means Heaven is real, and so is Hell. Jesus said "I am the way, the truth, and the life, no one comes to the Father but by me."
