    Peter's swing is so smooth, that it took my wife out to dinner and I didn't mind.

    Will be giving this a go - I have worked out I'm sliding too far forward in my swing and losing power. Hopefully this is the feel I've been searching for!

    Great video Pete, loving this side of the channel as well. I am having some trouble with early extension. Could you do a video on that with some good tips?

    I really like this drill .. but seeing your smooth (and near perfect) golf swing makes me want to sell my clubs. I might have to subscribe to your channel 😉

    You did mention about a slide... how do you differentiate the bump from the slide? How does one know they're sliding their body and not bumping pressure forward?

    I like the idea this drill. I'm very much on the back foot with my misses.

    do you typically hit your irons with "80%" effort or do you hit them as hard as you can under control for a "stock shot"

    Everything the same with driver other than ball further forward?

    Hi Peter when I fully rotate the right hip on my back swing I get a slight weight shift to the left would this be sufficient to initiate the down swing ie weight falling to the left 👍🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

    Love it. Although I'm guilty of the full on slide mentioned when discouraging putting the chair too far away.
    Would putting the chair marginally further away than you recommend and then trying not to hit it be equally valuable for an over active slider?

      I’d personally work on half shots or wedges where you can feel like you’re spinning in the downswing. From there just slowly move that into a full swing

    So I tried this for a week and it added 10-20m to my irons and I was hitting straighter

    Is this not swaying? I’m confused

    • @franksmit763
      @franksmit763 Před 2 měsíci

      I think what is meant with swaying is moving your whole body back during the backswing

    • @rickhunter6513
      @rickhunter6513 Před 2 měsíci

      It’s not swaying, it’s shifting slightly forward before making contact with ball. Your hips are shifting but upper body is not

    Did you go standard lofts on your pings? I’m completely baffled seeing an 8 iron carry over 170. Especially at that swing speed. Tommy fleetwoods 7 iron is 36 degrees and he’s averaging 175. I have to admit he’s 90% on that swing so over 100 mph. Your swing was looking like my speed at mid to high 80 mph. Sorry just having a hard time believing a 38 degree iron will go that far. Maybe it’s just the video that makes it seem like you’re swinging slower and smoother.

      It's not,it's like 160-165. That's total on the screen but carry bottom right

      @travissnyder1553 yeah but it's not carry. Pete has a lot of clubhead speed as well, despite how smooth it looks.

    • @Garbox80
      @Garbox80 Před 2 měsíci

      @@GolfLifer67 Yeah, and most of the clubhead speed is generated from hip level to impact anyway, so it doesn't tell much how aggressive the swing looks. Heck, I've had times when I've shortened and "eased" my swing and hit it further than before that (better contact while getting at least as much club head speed because it's a relaxed swing).

      Lack of spin causes the ball to carry further and still have control of the shot shape indoors, out doors the knuckle ball with no spin has next to 0 control to keep it on line ...can tell tjere is low spin as the balls are releasing forward with an 8 iron 5 6 7 feet on high shots

    Hi Peter; I have only 1 thing to say. Your swing disgusts me! It's one of those that looks like butter & it troubles me to no end. I'll never understand how a swing looks so slow produces your results. Please package it & send to me asap. I actually do have 1 question. Is your chest rotation the same speed for all of your shots or does it turn faster for longer shots. That's my holy grail. Being able to keep the same rhythm for every swing. I never fail to turn faster for longer shots. I'll be expecting to have my swing package soon. Thanks for your great videos!
