- Day 3 of the christening sailing of the Disney Wish with Lilia and today is a full day at sea! We get to meet Mickey and his friends, eat dinner at the new Frozen-themed Arendelle, get a drink at the adults-only Hyperspace Lounge with a $5,000 drink on the menu, and Lilia gets to do Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique for potentially the very last time since she is now 12 years old. But to my surprise, she picked a costume that I would never expect, Prince Charming. Her reaction is absolutely everything, and she just radiates happiness! I am so proud of my little girl for being whatever makes her happy! Even Elsa loved her outfit!

Disney should do a bibbidity bobbity boutique for adults cause I went to Disney a ton when I was a kid but never knew about it until a couple years ago (I’m 26) and even when I went to Disney as a kid my mom probably couldn’t afford it but I would LOVE to get one now but I’ve missed my chance 😭

As good as it is for Lilia to get to do this, I'm just thinking of all the other girls and boys that come through in the future and the staff can accommodate for them. Hopefully they make a price list that can have hair/make-up and outfit separated because that would just make it so much more inclusive 🤩

Old Disney was very much damsel in distress(because it was all portrayals of pre-existing fairytales), but modern Disney very much does not do that. Merida. Elsa/Anna. Moana. And many more. Even modern Rapunzel doesn't really need rescuing but moreso teams up with Eugene and kind of rescues him in a sense.
I'm going in October and can't wait! We are having a hard time choosing between what restaurant we want to do twice because we have a picky eater so if you were to decide which one is the pickiest eater-friendly which one is it! I hope you have a famtastic day!

So glad to see the behind the scenes of the photos that were on Insta. I didn't comment there but I saw so many people assuming she was given the Prince costume as it "was the only thing that would fit her" I was hoping that wasn't the case that she did indeed want it herself and I'm so glad to see it was her choice. I hope those people who assumed otherwise feel a bit silly now.

What blessed people you are to be invited to such a wonderful trip. Gosh I'm 65 never ever been on a ship in my life and now I'm disabled won't be able to travel to anywhere about the longest I can be in a car is a hour. My back is in the shape of the letter C now and my neck is messed up my chin sits on my chest now from rheumatoid arthritis and having 8 vertebrae where my spinal cord was compressed has caused my neck to get like that and my back is from a disease from birth they said and there's nothing they can do to help me. I'm getting a pain pump next month to help with the pain for now I spend most of my life in bed it's the best place for me I pray I can fall asleep and stay asleep so I don't feel the pain. It's awful the burning pain 24 hours a day. I also have neuropathy in my hands and feet. I have fibromyalgia I had heart failure last year I also have COPD AND CHF AND EMPHYSEMA AND so much more things wrong but I would of given anything for my 3 daughter's to of had a chance to see something that Amazing unfortunately we couldn't take vacations we couldn't travel I had to care for my middle daughter at 17 she was diagnosed with 2 autoimmune diseases she had autoimmune hepatitis and pancreatitis plus her bile duct since she was 17 we have dealt with her being sick I took care of her 5 kids and her during her days of being in the hospital her kids were all close in age so I took them to see their mommy about everyday she had a son who is autistic he was afraid to get on a elevator so we climbed 5 floors of stairs each time with a baby in a car seat and 4 other very young children who didn't like the idea of climbing that many flights of stairs so most were crying by the time we got to the top where their mommy was. Grandma stopped before we opened the door handed 4 kids suckers to calm them down before going to see her. I also took in 5 kids when my daughters were in middle school and high school their parents didn't treat them well they either weren't there for them or they were older and they didn't want them in their lives anymore after they left. One girl was sleeping in her car because her parents made her room into a sewing room and said she could sleep on the couch but had to leave her clothes in the car. So she left and slept in her car until she started working where I worked my 2nd job I took her to lunch and told her this was the last day you would sleep in your car you have your own bed at my house. She stayed 3 years with us and I have another daughter and 4 sons that still call me Mom whenever I see them. But even working 3 jobs to support all of them we never got to travel we just had lot's of kids over and sang songs together and I cooked for 20 kids some nights because they needed my attention. That's what I was brought on this earth for to help kids. Now I just try to make it from one day to the next. Glad you had a wonderful trip be safe on your journey home to be with your family. I’m so glad you let your kids express themselves. My parents would’ve never let me choose the prince outfit. I only in the past like 2 years have been able to express myself in my clothing and I’m 16!!

Re the Disney adults issue, I agree, I’m 58 with no kids, wasn’t blessed with any. If I want to go to Disney, I’m going to go to Disney! When I was a kid my parents used to tell us it was more fun when they went without us! That was so irritating at the time but I get it now! Never been on cruise but I love this ship!

I'm glad you let the kids choose who they want to be and what they want to do as they grow into their own individual people. Yes, Kyson and Kaden are twins, but in no means are they identical or the same person. They are fraternal twins and two polar opposites. They need their own personalities then being labeled as twins 24/7
On one hand, love that Lilia was able to wear what she wanted to, thst she felt comfortable enough to make that choice, all that... BUT simultaneously I hate that it is such a big deal. That it was title worthy, that it was made out to be a "big decision", that it's all people can talk about... we've come a LONG way as a society in accepting stuff like non gender conforming, BUT, the fact that we still "notice" and applaud it, means we still have a ways to go before it's just the norm. That people of any gender can just wear whatever they want, and it won't be a "surprise" or a big deal, or worth celebrating, it'll just be. 🤷♀️
