The craziest part of this story is how many people in the comments of the original video actually think he's a genius. It's really quite terrifying.
I have not seen it. I will check it out
One word, Trump😢
Yeah, but if an idiot calls another idiot a genius, we're good. No harm, no foul.
How's it still terrifying?

Kanye and Terrence need to live together so that they can brainstorm and talk about life as geniuses.

Not to brag, but I remember swimming to the egg in my mother. It was exhilarating yet tragic. Seeing so many other swimmers die will haunt me. I’m using Howard’s ideas to build a second earth utilizing Slartibartfast to design the fjords

Nicely done.
But Jussie had the vice president on his side.
If he is acting, give that man all the Oscars. ALL OF THEM!
I’m a criminal defense attorney. I have had so many people sit in my office, or I visit them in jail, and ramble on just like Terrence Howard. It’s sad to see. He’s sick and needs help. However, I think most people will just see it as entertainment value.
Great point man. There is just a section of the population that are self obsessed psychopaths who think THEY are the ONLY thing that matters, no matter how much people try to reason with them. I think harsh consequences can sober some out of the state of kind though… some.
Agreed 😢 it’s sad.
I hope he’s an incredibly talented actor and it’s all some kind of dark satire about ignoring mental illness, but probably not
Well, watching your father stab a man to death as a small child is exactly how you end up with thoughts and feelings as he has now. The sad part is are any people in his personal life trying to help him or have just given up on him?
Can you demonstrate why his world of windows patent reflects his insanity, his lack of comprehension?
@@TheBrutuzrawk The fact his "patent" was rejected by the patent office for "vague and imprecise language".
I.e. for being BS - a patent submission has to be properly defined, stating the novelty and industrial application of the invention. Also, you can't patent something that already exits, a natural law or violation of it (no perpetual motion machines or time travel machines) or an obvious change such as a telephone BUT red or with no buttons.
Rest of his patents were rejected for that exact reason - he tried to resubmit an old AT&T patent. All that clearly shows his lack of comprehension.
What's scary is the amount of people pretending they understand anything he says.
The Emperor's New Clothes syndrome or jumping on the bandwagon effect.
Exactly. The “protect this man at all cost” idiots are really coming out of the woodwork.

I dated a guy like this once😳he lied about having a degree from a prominent university but he actually never graduated. He gave my number to the school loan collection agency and I got calls after we broke up. He used to go on rants and pace…then ask me if I was getting this all down like I was his secretary. He believed he needed a building with his name on it and a clothing line with the same. He was an actor too. I could write a screenplay/Netflix sitcom about it! So much more…but exhausting dude!😂

"He entertains the world at his expense." Well put.
The fact that he did a talk at Oxford/Cambridge university and no one questioned the stuff coming out of his mouth is insane.
They for sure pushed back in the Q&A section about 34 minutes in.
Incorrect, they politely did not interrupt him during his allotted timebut didn't believe a word,
Yes! That is scary!
It's as if he has some sort of innate characteristic that prevents the wider academic establishment from exposing him as a fraud!
That just goes to show that that institution no longer has any credibility.
How Dr. Grande is able to keep a straight face throughout this entire video is amazing!
In just a few of his videos Dr. Grande included outtakes where he bursts out laughing when talking about comical nonsense. The magic of editing makes it look like he's a stone cold professional who never laughs at the strange subject matter that he so often covers.

I believe we call this the Dunning-Kruger effect.
Exactly! However: When Dunning Kruger becomes a permanent defect, it arguably becomes more of a syndrome than an effect.
First rule of Dunning Krueger Club: the members are not aware they belong.

I thought it was called the Kanye-Howard effect... my bad.

I think the main event that scarred him beyond repair was witnessing his father unalive someone as a child. His father was also a wifebeeter (typos to not alert the🤖). Since a child has to rationalize that and maintain their view of their parent as all-good, it’s easy to see how that would form the basis of his grandiosity and extreme magical thinking.
You think the ironman debacle drove him mad?
No. Look up the Santa Line slaying. Terrence Howard’s dad killed a guy for not letting him cut in line to see Santa.

Terrance acted exactly like I did when I had spinal meningitis and sepsis at the same time. The meningitis was creating changes in my thinking ( the sepsis too) and I was basically batsh*T crazy! So I understand everything he’s saying…😂

I remember thinking strands of hair could act like antennas for ideas from the cosmos, that magic might be real if everything is energy then you could harmonize it with your own vibrations like words and gestures.
...and like Terrence I evangelized my 'discoveries' and quickly got my ass handed to me by people who knew how stupid it was.
I learned from them and put myself on a diet of STEM topics to learn stuff for real, and yeah.. I was crazy as a fox.
Right? I suffered through the same set of illnesses after back surgery that became infected. I was trying to convince everyone that obviously my hair was melting because my brain was on fire and superheating my scull to the point it melted my hair. I could feel the flames licking the inside of my scull and didn't get why nobody could see what was happening. My hair was sweaty an wet from the fever but it fed my delusions perfectly. But I still cant understand what Terrence is talking about!

One thing i think has major importance to this case is that when terrance was a child, he witnessed his father stab another man to death while they were eaiting in line to see santa. One thing for sure is that trauma can lead to many mental health illnesses. He is not acting. He needs help
The incident is called "the Santa line slaying"
I agree. Many people in the entertainment industry and politics have similar personalities. Such are the many faces of a traumatic childhood that must control the overall narrative. PTSD is correlated to childhood abuse. Exposure to trauma during critical growth periods of the human development life span is often accompanied by mood disorders likely through the epigenetic effect of chronic distress associated with hormonal dysfunction.

There's this idea that using big words and confusing language that most people cannot understand makes one appear intelligent. That by talking fast and with confidence conveys that what someone is saying has credibility. Unfortunately, there is a fairly large group of internet dwellers in our society that cannot see past the nonsense. To me, the true mark of an intellectual is someone who can take complicated subjects and explain them in such a way and with such language that the common man can understand. Well said! "The best solution to most problems is simple...not complex and totally useless if not understood." Don't know said this....but makes sense. PS: thought you were a train enthusiast and checked out your channel for videos...nope.
Eric Dyson, described by Michael A. Fletcher as "a Princeton Ph.D. and a child of the streets who takes pains never to separate the two", has authored or edited more than twenty books dealing with subjects such as Malcolm X, Martin Luther King Jr., Marvin Gaye, Barack Obama, Nas's debut album Illmatic, Bill Cosby, Tupac Shakur and Hurricane Katrina.
@@hughjanus5336 What has this to do with Terrence Howard???
This is content we need! Thank you
I thinks you’re spot on. Jaoquin Phoenix did that thing where he said he retired and began a career as a hip-hop artist. I’ve thought from the beginning that this is a performance by Terrance. I’m fully prepared to hear him say it was all an act and point out how gullible we have become as a society, with so many people taking him seriously. If he’s actually sincere, it paints a very different picture.
Bipolar type I with narcissism. There.... I said it. I'm type II and was nowhere near as bad as he is before medication. He's being exploited by the media and I really wish this would stop. He needs help and the longer this goes on, the less likely he will get it.
Agreed but I think the narcissism is just grandiosity
I'm dealing with that (not me) now. Temper tantrums, delusions, wants to get a gun, a dog, and a car, while living in a tiny hotel room for the last 20 plus years. And he's over 70.
You know it's hard out here for a pimp.
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😮
Word
tryna make the money for the rent….
You know, he was in that movie
I thought he looked familiar
Bahaha! Genius!
That was so funny Dr G! I really needed a good laugh and really enjoyed your analysis. Thanks.
When you're surrounded by people who constantly tell you how amazing you are, eventually you belive it.
"Rats in New York want to stay in vogue" . ha, ha, ha.....🤣😂
Just because you are good at one thing.... Doesn't mean you are good at others...I wish more people understood that....
Here is someone who finally comes back to Pluto's cave.
I agree with you on everything here. I also want to point out that it nothing gets multiplied if you start with 1 and end with 1
There is madness, there is lunacy and then there is Terrence Howard.
I watched his interview and tried speculating on what could be happening in a situation like this.
I gave up after 10 minutes.
I think I made it to 12 minutes. 😢
@@BetaBuxDelux you did pretty good then lol
😮😂😂😂
COCAINE?
I imagine Rogan needed to go on another magical DMT journey just to get through the interview.
Nothing remarkable has happened in my entire life, but I can say when I went to the hospital, I met Terrence Howard. Hes a weirdo. He was literally one of the most obnoxious people I've ever met in my life. I cut my legs during a surfing injury, and he was in the room next to me, his wife stole his car while he was at the hospital, and she wouldn't return it, he was walking around the hallway trying to get nurses to listen to his music on his phone. The doctors literally had to make him go back to his room because he wouldn't stop carrying on like a hooligan. He was the weirdest dude I've ever met in my entire life. He couldn't even believe that I didn't know who he was. His behavior was just so bizarre.
Drugs ?
@@1Esteband listen. I don't wanna slander the man. But from an educated guess, it seemed like he was chasing pain meds for his wife. Then she took his car, and this was before Uber and all that. He's a weirdo. I don't know if he's still married to the same woman, and I don't care, but it was some Asian lady.
@@1Esteband listen, I was fighting an infection, I was in the amputee ward. They literally thought they were going to have to amputate my leg from an injury I got surfing, and thank God I'm okay, but he literally would not stay out of my room. And he kept asking if I knew who he was, and while I'm sure if I had not been on medication, I would have known who he was, I had no idea, and I kept asking him to get out of my room, other patients kept asking him to get out of their room. The staff was literally ready to kick him out of the hospital. 😂😂😂
And when she tookand when she took his car, he said something to the effect that he was going to hit her. The hospital staff literally had to stop him from talking.
😳 Impressive summation. Thank you 👍😊
Wow this guy makes Steven Segal look like a humble genius.
