I bought this the day it came out . While I enjoy how it makes my music sound different , I found the plugin very buggy . The moment I save my work , the plugin always resets , and it jumps to Flourish settings . I then have to manually reset everything again .
It looks alot like a necked down version of Lotus. It's got a nice UI, but so did Lotus (Illusion seems more clarified). To me? It just seems like a missed opportunity, you guys sure did well with Shockwave which I see as a higher class VST. So for the same price range, I guess we were all expecting another innovative VST. Lotus already pushed the envelope with it's hardware emulation, it's a SOLID plugin. With that being said, unless you just copied the build I don't think it'll match up to Lotus (Which has also been described as a powerhouse) Even if you weren't looking to revamp Lotus's features like glide, I think there could've been many creative chains implemented. For example, Lotus sounds amazing with reverb; So why not add a little "Space" or even "Pluto" parameter? While many of us already separately own those, It would really drive home a fresh vision for this plugin
