    I find this anti-realism or whatever you are describing as more honest way of arguing. This way instead of saying "murder is bad... just because" we translate argument into objective field: "spread of murder in general is not beneficial for me, because i don't want having higher chances of being executed or killed or what not, even if others kill others it is still not beneficial to me because dead people do not pay taxes, and i get less social benefits". The scariest part is that to forbid anything through law we must make majority of people agree.
    UPD: You can't prove anything, only convince. Outside of materialistic arguments only way to influence people is through aesthetics
