Great video! There is also a striking parallel between Jonah's message for Nineveh and Jesus' message for Jerusalem as described in the Olivet Discourse. Unlike the people in Nineveh, the Jews did not repent. For the chosen ones Jesus was the Way to escape from Gods judgement on the city.

So i have come to understand that Jonah had died. His spirit called out in prayer while drowning. He claimed to have been in the depths of Sheol. The fish transported his body, and God raised jonah from the dead. Hence Jesus saying “i will give you one sign, the sign of Jonah.” More fitting that Christ had acknowledged the depth of the truth of that Jonah spent three days in the grave, and consumed, than by the Power of God rose from the grave.

"I descended to the root of the mountains" the Mediterranean Sea is between 1500 and 5000 feet deep. I can't imagine Jonah could hold his breath sinking that deep. "Weeds were wrapped around my head." That sounds like a guy at the bottom of the sea. Water encompassed me to the point of death." and "The earth with its bars was around me FOREVER" These sound like death. I'm not saying for sure that Jonah had died, but that the descriptors are making an amazing and prophetic analogy for Jesus of his death and resurrection.

You two have great insight into the Scriptures complemented by archeology. Great job!
However, instead of the rock music (Hell's Bells) at the end, why not play edifying music which complements the teaching instead of detracting from it?

There was also a solar eclipse that went right over Ninivah during the time Jonah wouldn've been there

Sorry but why do you feel the need to tell extra biblical stories? The hypothesis that Jonah went saying what happened to him to the people of Nineveh is not in scripture. This needs to be clarified.
This assumption takes away from the biblical narrative.

It would have indeed been better if he had shared the Assyrian cult beliefs as a possibility rather than asserting it as a fact.

Scripture says, GOD prepared a fish. I could survive in a fish that was made to do so by GOD himself

The text is clear. He died in that fish and was brought back to life by GOD. For Jonah prayed even in sheol
