The sequestered property by way of common sense can never be inherited because it was legally sequestered. An estate tax is only for properties legally inherited by the heirs of the deceased. They will sell them off to pay their tax deficiencies estate tax being one of them. But since the court of Hawaii ruled against the Markurakots during the 1990s, their assets in the US were frozen. And if any of the Markurakots visits the US, they will be handcuffed unless they pay the US government their tax deficiencies as ordered by the US courts. On the other hand, the Markurakots had some of their illegally acquired assets sequestered by PCGG. NO ESTATE TAX for that. The estate tax are for properties legally inherited by the Markurakots when Dictator Marcos died. Nothing wrong with that. It's their constitutional right. The Markurakots were legally requested by BIR to pay their estate tax amounting to P2.3B on 1997. No payment was made ever since. The computation was finished 1997 trying to differentiate which of the Markurakot properties are stolen or for inheritance. When they identified which is which by 1995, they requested Imelda and BBM to pay their estate tax amounting to P2.3B. Cory Aquino's term ended 1992. The sequestered property by way of common sense can never be inherited because it was legally sequestered. An estate tax is only for properties legally inherited by the heirs of the deceased. No need to pay estate tax on any real property you did not inherit.

They will sell them off to pay their tax deficiencies estate tax being one of them. But since the court of Hawaii ruled against the Markurakots during the 1990s, their assets in the US were frozen. And if any of the Markurakots visits the US, they will be handcuffed unless they pay the US government their tax deficiencies as ordered by the US courts.
On the other hand, the Markurakots had some of their illegally acquired assets sequestered by PCGG. NO ESTATE TAX for that. The estate tax are for properties legally inherited by the Markurakots when Dictator Marcos died. Nothing wrong with that. It's their constitutional right. Tingin mo ang Presidente na may chain of command sa BIR Commissioner, masasabihan nya ang BIR COmmissioner na patuloy ang pagsingil sa kanila ng unpaid taxes nila? In short, tingin mo masisingil ng BIR Commisioner ang boss nya?
