  • Good Morning & Welcome to fordmustang98guy Everyone, Today's In Depth Review I will be showing you something that is very rare to find now a days This morning I present to you the 1995 Cadillac Sedan Deville, (It is a ONE Owner Car) I take viewers on a close look through the interior and exterior of the car while showing details, over viewing of features, and noting unique styling cues to the vehicle itself. I also show the engine and the details of it, & starting the engine as well. A thorough tour/review of the car designed to give others a greater overall appreciation of the vehicle.

    While I understand that this video is over a year old, I wanted to let you know just for reference sake. The parking brake automatically releases once the car is out of park. The only reason I know is because I currently own a 1995 Cadillac Sedan Deville. It is in a tiny bit worse shape than this one(Mainly the paint has faded), but really not bad at all for a nice daily driver/work commuter. Also, I think that's just how the exhaust is, since mine is the same way. But I like it that way. Haha!

    If I'm not mistaken, these older Cadillacs use a vacuum released parking brake system that releases the brake when the transmission is out of park or neutral.

      BusMaster99 well if that's what you think LOL but I did not want to test the parking brake because I am afraid that it might get stuck and I cannot engage it after plus the car is 22 years old

      It is in Excellent Shape but it's not perfect it does have a little dent on the fender lol the car was owned by an old Italian Guy & he was the Original Owner he bought it brand new in the Summer of 1995 but unfortunately he passed away back in 2004 & then the car was sitting in the garage til 2005 after that my former co worker's mom drove it from 2005 till last year (2016) & then my former co worker had it as his 1st car etc, Everything is from the Factory the Engine is Original but the starter has been rebuilt Recently...................................

      Not the one with the NorthStar engine the 4.9 Litre V8 is the better one

  • @newfoundrooski
    @newfoundrooski Před 7 lety +2

    Fun Fact: 1996 was the first year that the Deville was fitted with the notoriously problematic 32V Northstar V8.

    • @fordmustang98guy
      @fordmustang98guy  Před 7 lety +1

      Nick Crane True but the NorthStar engines we're not the best due to having head gasket issues.

    • @tripzuki7462
      @tripzuki7462 Před 4 lety

      Wasn’t the Northstar introduced to the Sedan Deville in the 1994 model year? The 4.9 was available for that year too.

    Looking at one right now. 130 thousand miles. Any thoughts on any ways to tell if the transmission is bad?

    • @fordmustang98guy
      @fordmustang98guy  Před rokem

      What’s good about this is that it’s got the 4.9 L V8 not the 4.6 L Northstar this was the last good V8 Cadillac made because in 1996 when the Northstar came out they were such garbage engines

      @Stephen Sword Cadillac’s are nice cars but the Northstar engines are junk but this 95 has the 4.9 L V8 not the Northstar motor

      @austinwilliamson5511 Před 5 lety

      @@fordmustang98guy unfortunately she sold it do to high mileage it was sold back in 2015 it had over 500k miles on it and she now has a 2016 escalade

    • @taekosmo559

      That's a lot of miles

    • @tripzuki7462
      @tripzuki7462 Před 4 lety

      Austin Williamson, if it was a 97, then it had a Northstar engine not a 4.9. Plus the front end got an update in 97, so it looked a little different. With the reputation of the Northstar engine, 500k miles is quite impressive!!! 😃

    Back in '95 if you got 100,000 miles you did good. Anything over that wasn't worth fixing. That car is running on borrowed time.
