  • In a country with multiple ethnicities, languages, and cultures, it’s easy to get caught up in our differences. Article 15’s Ayan Ranjan (Ayushmann Khurrana) asks the one question that should be on all our minds when we forget that we have more in common than that which divides us.

this scene showed the real face of caste system in india..
caste discrimination is not just upper caste vs lower caste..
there is discrimination within the caste, between the caste and between the varnas..
people who are discriminated by others also discriminate among themselves..(at 1:01 minutes you can see it)
caste system is deeply engrained in each one of us just like corruption..

This movie really made me understand the terrifying effects of caste system. Im from kerala. We still do have caste system and caste based discrimination but not like that of north india as shown in the movie(thanks to the early leaders, people who worked for the eradication of caste system and mostly progressively thinking people ).
The most disturbing thing is that, the people who is considered "low caste" themself think they are lower to others.

You would like to think South India has lesser discrimination than North India but that's not true. I am not a north Indian so not siding with anyone. South Indians are more staunch when it comes to caste specially Brahmins. Additionally South India made the problem worse by adopting other religions and still identifying with the caste. So these days we have Christian Brahmins in many parts of India which makes me laugh and cry at the same time.

Tagore never meant to write it as an independent India’s National Anthem, he just reflected his idea of a large, undivided and undisputed nation...and sad to say, it is not very easy for a person to feel what Tagore felt. Not Hindu, neither Muslim, sikh or Christianity or anything of that sort. So accepting any other religion won't change anything. Education and mentality will change. Then slowly the changes will imply with proper education. We can also educate people about Vedas and the modern education of how helping people irrespective of any cast and creed can enhance humanity. In that way nothing is removed but people are more enhanced. Since I am an aethist I don't disrespect any religion or any text book or anything. I just use that as a medium to let people know what is right and wrong. I think people will understand when there will be proper education.

I live in West Bengal. And I am feeling myself very lucky that I am not a resident of UP or Bihar, where the caste system still exists so dangerously.
In my State, many greatmen like Vidyasagar, Raja Rammohan Roy, Kazi Nazrul Islam, Rabindranath Thakur had born. And because of them now, my State, West Bengal is in much more good condition than UP, Bihar, from the aspect of Caste system.
I was came to know that there are some divisions, like SC, ST, OBC, Higher Caste etc, when I was in class six.

🔺Some people talking about abolishing the cast system(Gen,obc,sc,st).
🔺let's assume the cast system is abolished...but then what about discrimination.
🔺Mindset of people's are not gonna change anyway.
🔺 people are only seeing reservation and start chanting on them(e.g U don't deserve...U people's are jungli and deserve to stay there.)
🔺Some thinks that cast discrimination is no more exists...but if they are said to have lunch or water of them or with them, they will not have it.
🔺 Ground reality is way different then what in movies or in CZcams videos.
🔺 People do discrimination bcz they see their parents doing that.

Imagine a situation where an IAS, IPS Or the top bureaucrats have no sense about the caste structure of Indian society. We born in caste, live with caste and die with caste and it is the reality of every household. But, Article -15 denounced this reality.

If we think like that and teach our children about all the various castes in the country and the future is just hell! Article 15 adopts the new norm

I am really proud on myself and on this generation which understands the problems of the society and try to remove them from their mentality too. Of course we should always know about our true History but also keep moving forward living the preset life.
