thanks again for the videos. i just designed my workbench with the M&T's. a quick tip for others. if you are using the push/pull tool and doing the same measurement of another piece enter the measurement as shown, but then on the others you can double click and it will automatically do that measurement. this way you dont have to retype that everytime. Whata great program

One thing that you will get addicted to when you go to clean up things, especially the non-essential contstruction lines is the eraser too. Simply drag the eraser over the things you want to delete and release the mouse, and they are gone.
No extra step of hitting "delete". Start it by hitting 'e'
I find that knowing and using the keyboard shortcuts speeds things up tremendously. 'T' for tape measure, p for pushpull Q for rotate, r for rectangle, C for circle.

Also, instead of hiding an edge to keep it from showing, hit "entity Info" and check or uncheck the appropriate check box. If you don't do this and you have previous things hidden that you want to show again, then you will have to unhide the lines you really want hidden too.
The entity box allow you to make a line 'soft', 'smooth', and controls if it casts shadows.

Matthias, you make woodworking look so effortless. I've been watching for a while now, and was excited to hand craft a mortise and tenon in my shop class. Unfortunately it ended up taking over and hour for one joint and was not completely square. All I had available for the mortise and tenon was a hand drill and chisel set. We weren't allowed the drill press as it was supposed to be all hand crafted. Any tips? My next project has more than one of these joins.

Edit: OK, so I got it after a couple minutes. I hadn't opened the table top object by itself. I did, redrew the arc tangential to edge. Then it would 'push/pull' so I could trim.
