It's like watching an Olympics worthy tumbling routine. You guys train your gymnasts well. Good job!
😂 thank you
@@infectedoutdoors Haha! Once you get motivated into super editing mode, you should do a tumbler, stanky leg, gusher, squealer, moonwalker, triple lutz, nose plant handstand and overall epic shot compilation!
Should follow us on Instagram gram for all that lol
@@skydivejumprope I spit out my coffee. That was hilarious 😁.
Anyone else find these videos to be oddly satisfying? I stumbled across one of these videos and I've been hooked ever since.
Now, that's the first time I've ever seen a hog try to moon-walk back out of a gunshot wound lol...
😂 we train them

Despite seeing so many hunting channels eliminating hundreds if not thousands of wild boars, they are still everywhere, nowhere near extinct.
Stay safe handling them, bud.
Sure will
Their babies have to learn to forage. If their parents die, then there is a high chance they will die as well. Because they don't know how to forage.
@@Sksk27547 who told you that ?
Amazing thermals. You can pickup even the tree line clearly.
anyone out there thinking hog culling is barbaric needs to see these videos. It's unreal seeing how large some of the herds are. That many hogs could tear up and uproot an entire field in a single evening, good lord
Yeah and it’s never ending
Watching the bullet bounce between the two trees 0:40 is legit one of the cooler things I've seen on youtube
I wanna be this guys friend when a zombie apocalypse breaks out

👦🏼: two.. one...💥🔫
The shooting accuracy is stunning!👍👍👍👍😊
Thanks
I think someone stated once that just to keep populations at current levels yearly culling needs to be 75% of the total population. they actually multiply that quickly.
If the meat can be donated even better.
They cause tremendous damage to agriculture.
Yes and it’s anywhere from 67-75 percent and Texas at a whole is at 26 percent.
@@infectedoutdoors Rabbits got nothin on HOGS!! 😂😂😂
@@infectedoutdoors are you saying that only 25% are getting killed or 25% is usually what's left?
As of the whole state of Texas only 25 percent are getting killed
@@infectedoutdoors damn so it's only getting worse huh? Live in NY so I don't have to worry about hog infestations thankfully
These things breed faster than rabbits.
I have to ask, Where did you learn to shoot? Engaging multiple moving targets, a 2ft above the ground and many headshots, at NIGHT is incredible, by any standard. I’m a U.S. Army Veteran, Expert Infantry Badge and Qualified Expert on every weapon we trained on and that would be difficult for me to do. Big thumbs up!
Marine Corps 😂 nah just a lot of practice
It's called talent you have it or simply you don't
Because he can "shoot" but you don't cause of you can't find people to shoot for practice. I support Army should to practice by hunting.
In the same way, Carlos Hathcock first learned how to shoot.
@generic-go If i'm the army, i'll make this thing bussinese. Soldiers have job and practice their skill, farmers won't have poblem and it make lots of money.
Seems like we had more combat footage from the bay of pigs than previously thought
Always good when you post a video!

Wow amazing shooting guys! Y'all are doing amazing work. Hogs are dangerous and they breed like rabbits. Great work!
Thank you we appreciate it
Just remember it's HOG Season! --the rabbits
Seems to me that with all the hogs there would be less hungry people. But than you know the government they'd rather see people go hungry than be given some free wild hog meat

Yeah that was epic
I've got an IR night vision scope but the dang smoke from the barrel kills follow up and running shots. I REALLY need to get a thermal setup... HONEY! Do the kids reeeaaallly need to got to college? Lol. Nice shooting. Great job! Wonderful footage for those of us who can't get out there as often as we would like.
Thanks. I know a few ppl that has done different stuff to avoid that. Think they mess around where there IR light is
Mount your IR light up high with an extension bracket and zoom the IR light enough to see a few feet on the side of the hogs. The wider the beam the more the smoke will block the follow up. Once you have it set right it works great. You want the IR light 10 to 12 inches away from the centerline of the barrel. I'm using thermal but my 2 kids are using ATM night vision scopes with no issues.
@@FarmerFpv thanks. I'll try that next time. I'm running is the ATN 4k Pro as well. But I've been mounting the IR on the integrated rail. It probably doesn't help that I'm running cheap, dirty, smoky 7.62×39 ammo in most cases too.

Some of them go like real drama queens lol 😂
Yes they do
yesssssss that is awesome. I know an acquaintance that does this exact method of hog control out in central and east Texas areas, like Conroe and LaGrange. Maybe yall know of him too. Does not do youtube that I know of, but does do instagram. Unfortunately, lots of “regular” folks are totally unaware that the hogs do hundreds of millions of dollars of crop damage which, effectively, has a reducing effect on the foods and products bought in grocery stores, which with the current inflation, also adds to the price increases. Imo, we gotta do a better job of getting the word out and do like a big coordinated public advertisting effort, on all channels and all social medias, or something of the sort, on the benefits of feral hog hunting and consumption, especially for helping the “regular” grain based food supplies to the national grocery industry
That’s why we have this channel not just for entertainment but educational

"Whatcha got there, Bud!!??"😁
Couple of net traps by Pig Brigg and you easily get rid of the entire sounder. Shooting is fun but has low impact on the growing population of feral hogs.
We do trap. But pigs are smart. Might take time. Sometimes we don’t have time. Corn goes in the ground. And gone the next night.
@@infectedoutdoors I understand and support shooting. Trapping can occur year round so that growing season is not impacted as much.
So far the feral hogs are winning.
I have been operating 3 Hog Traps 15'x15' and Field Hunting Feral Hogs on my 680 acres for 8 years now. Doesn't seem like any shortage of Hogs. Average 15 a week in each Trap, and Slaughter 25 to 35 each week in the Field.

Im new to the hunting scene and i have a question, can you hog hunt at night at a wma? Do some WMA’s allow that?
Not that I know of. I don’t think any public land you can hunt at night
@@infectedoutdoors damn , i’d really like to get into thermal and night vision hunting but don’t know anyone with private land . Is that the only way to legally night hunt? I know theres places you can go but idk about spending $500 each time i want to go shoot a hog?!
Yeah pretty much, it is a expensive game
Find ppl on social media around you, bet someone around you would help you
In my area you can hunt hogs if there is an open hunt for anything else. Like squirrels or deer. If it’s a gun specific hunt, you must use that gun. Like black powder or 22 for a small game hunt. With deer you usually get to hunt with a shotgun or rifle. Every area is different. Best thing to do is go to a check station at a WMA hunt and talk to the wardens. They are standing around during the day when everyone is in the woods. They will explain anything you have questions about. They don’t allow hunters to camp overnight or hunt at night in my area, southeast US.
At 2:57 that hog died in it's sleep! 🤣🤣
What caliber are you using?

you need some remote audio to bring them back in , like Dualing bandgos . Hogs are really afraid of that . Nice shooting 👍 👍

What do you do with all of the meat/ dead animals?
what do yall do with the meats? is it too gamey? i always see these videos but never asked. and also what thermals are you using?
So you can’t donate the meat to food pantries etc. (to many diseases) etc.

does the meat get used at all? or do regulations or low prices make it not worth it?
So what do you do with the dead hogs anyway?
Lots of things, sell to dog food companies, give them away or let the buzzards eat
more of this please!

What do you do with the meat?
What are the main weapons used for this? As well, do any of these end up meat on the table?
Some do, we use the meat to give away, or give to dog food companies
I assume the same that they use in schools...
would suppressed rifles help with those night shots? Not spook the hogs as much? Or would they bolt on the round impact anyway?
All we run is suppressed. Just domestic sound like it through the mic.
They will run after the first screen no matter what. Just like bow hunting

Depends on the group and where they are located at
If against the woods closest to the woods hoping for them to run into the opening. Every group is little different

i have a genuine question. it seems the hogs start running as soon as they hear a shot ring out. wouldn't it make sense to use the quietest subsonic ammunition in a bolt action rifle? the idea would be to shoot them without spooking them.
We tried this .22 sub sonic ear shots. Still the same results
@@warrenparker8282 it is not sustainable
@@warrenparker8282 , Just Saying, According to the people in the know. One female in her lifetime can produce 30,000 offspring that are her direct descendent. Then they if female can do the same.
What you need to do is get the hogs to kill each other.
@@warrenparker8282I believe its up to 12 per litter and regarding the methods anything is pretty much on the table since they're listed as a pest, so helicopters, poison, traps, this, hell I've heard of people using tannerite and baiting the group in with food and setting it off via shooting said tannerite, though I'm not sure if its very cost effective but it does get the job done. Helicopter arguably getting the fastest results for temporary removal since they repopulate so fast but trapping I believe is better long term though I'm not sure of this.

Thank you glad you enjoyed it
@@infectedoutdoors Anytime you kill 200 hogs is a celebration! I especially like when there are 20 or 30 all tightly bunched up. Just shot as fast as possible into the most densest part of the sounder and you're sure to drop several then you can concentrate on individuals running and lastly shoot those 1st ones if any are moving. Try for twofers or even a threefer!
We try get them all not matter what that’s always the plan. Some nights are better than others
Incredible the amount of destructive pest is like they sprung over night like you fighting four to one and you feel overwhelmed some times but you keep hammering until is none left 👍
Can you eat hogs? I know they are a wild pig, but are they edible?
Some of them are. Definitely a different taste
If you know how to cook them right they can be quite tasty. Most people can't handle gammie foods. We've smoked a lot of wild boar here in East Texas. But don't go into hog hunting thinking this is easy especially if you are new to hunting, they are extremely aggressive and can tear you up if you don't watch yourself.

Growing up my father never wanted us to hurry a hog along as we moved it from the feedlot to the place where he killed them. He wanted them to relax after walked to pen, he never used a gun he hit them in the head with a hammer, no noise. Adrenaline is not a good thing for a hog to have in his blood when he is killed. No boar hog will ever be good to eat, we casterated the males at about a couple of weeks or a month old. A gilt in heat, is also not going to be good to eat. Trapping them and then using a suppressed weapon to shoot them one at a time is a much better idea if you want meat that is fit to eat. In many states you can not even move a live feral hog or hunt them on public land. It takes extra precautions when cleaning a feral hog, these are not a special species of hog, they were either let loose or got loose. A few states do allow the meat to be sold to some meat packers.
Man hitting them with a hammer that’s crazy
