Big congrats to winner.
I’m surprised that you have hard time to swage with drill. I do use swage flare bits that I bought from Johnstone and drilled it no problem. Thanks for sharing sir.
Yea the did not seem to love it. Surprised by that little impact tho
Awesome tool reviews and giveaways..........
Thank you

Awesome video been looking into the swaging bits for some time but I really only keep my Milwaukee impact with me on jobs and wasn't sure if it would handle the job definitely picking me up some of these now thanks
I was actually really surprised that it was
Nice to see a tool in use.
I’ll try and get more footage of them I. Use for the future videos!
Awesome video I was just about to pick a set of these up at my local supplier but was on the fence. Might have to swing back through and purchase them
Right on, glad I could help

Nice video.
Like your way to explain.
Appreciate that!
Congrats Justin!
Growing up I was a DeWalt fan because that is what my stepdad used. Now that I have tried Milwaukee, I ain’t going back. The 12v is surprisingly powerful for that small of a package.
I’ve always been a dewalt man myself! But now run all Milwaukee on the truck, garage wood tools are still a lot of dewalt tho
HVAC Tool Review DeWalt is good, but for the quality/price ratio I am going with Milwaukee
Milton Albrecht I agree!
Congrats to Justin!
Another well made video, great comparisons! Actually very surprising that the M12 beat up on all them so badly... especially with the RPM recommendations
I was shocked really. Was fun to test out tho, except I now need a new 18v 😂
That’s really surprising with the m12 impact being the best at swage. I assume since you heated up the last pipes that they were ACR, was the first test ACR as well? I agree with you on the flare kit. I find it difficult to get your drill perfectly aligned with the pipe. I have went back to my orbital flare tool. They come out looking great every time. Thanks for putting together this giveaway.
Congratulations to the winner!!!!!!
I was really surprised. Yes all acr same pipe, just wanted to see how much difference in performance with annealing the pipe first. Thanks for the support!
Another great vid mate 👍
I appreciate that! 👊
Very suprising the 12V worked so well
I thought the same thing
Haven’t got to use the Milwaukee stud tape yet but I love the Klein 11in1 very useful
Nice sturdy tape! Can’t go wrong with the Klein 11in1
Excellent video. Congratulations. Greetings from Chihuahua, México.
+Luis Ramirez thank you!
So should we use them with impacts only? I bought the m12 impact kit w/hammer drill driver. I guess my m12 hammer drill is useless 😂
Haven’t had much luck with the larger sizes but smaller 3/8-1/2” seem to go well
Yes they work much better on the smaller sizes. Especially the soft rolls. All the manufactures say they work on hard drawn too so wanted to try it out and the largest size hard drawn pipe.
Awesome video
Appreciate that! 👍
It seems with those tools it was real hard to make the flares and swedges but still a good review I’m gonna have to try out
One thing I use beside m18 fuel impact is the medium torque impact and put a chuck adaptor on it, definitely gets enough RPM
Good call
So I could be way off but I think the heat from the bigger drills was work hardening the pipe which made it harder to swage
My Dewalt 20volt impact worked fine not sure what your issue is
Love the channel! What setting did u have on the M12?
It was on its fastest output speed.
That m12 was impressive
I was impressed by it myself!
Excelente videos saludos excellent video greetings cordoba argentina
Thank you my friend!
Congrats to the Winner.
Try using nylog or refrigerant oil for lubrication along with deburing
Was that hard or soft copper? That sick after the 20v dewalt where u lost grip looked like plumbing hard copper. Those tools only meant for soft.
Tried both, and they claim it can do hard copper. The friction is supposed to heat up the piping and anneal it
Yo, that prize is awesome
Thanks man, good luck
Maybe these bits work great on some of these cheaper line sets that some of these distributors are selling, I know some of these line sets will kink just using a tube bender
They definitely work better on those cheap ultra thin walled line sets 😂. They also work better on the smaller sized soft copper
I think your Grove slippery maybe that why it not go that well. I just think impact will beat out the drill anytime
Next time start pushing the pipes against the ground or other strong solide wall.
Put it on hammer mode the drill will work better.
Thanks for the review! When will this one ☝️ be given away?
Working on getting the video together, probably post it Sunday or Monday. Thanks for checking!
Seem more bad then good
Yeah I kind of agree, if you were needing to run a whole bunch of swages back to back to back this is probably not a good choice. If you occasionally need to run a few, it’s not terrible, gets the job done
So the least powerful driver did best interesting.
Yea not really sure how to explain that. Had never used the 7/8” prior to this, had really only used it on soft drawn line sets for the last part and small pipe. Was very surprised by this.
dude doesnt know how to use drill settings, wouldnt let him install any hvac system at my house, blames the swedge kit rather than his lack of knowing how to use tools XD
Why are you torturing a drill on a hard copper pipe it is meant for soft copper.
Because they state in their manual that it works on hard copper by using friction to heat up and anneal the pipe. Obviously it doesn’t work that well. Had to test it out
