Didn't even realize this was going on till today when an announcer was talking about the weird court colors lol
Lol if it wasn't for the crazy courts and the inseason tournament logo being shown here and there most people wouldn't even notice
@KingDim fr, it seems cool though and maybe a way to predict which teams would be better in the finals. I was thinking maybe they let the best g-league team play as well or at least participate.
@@enoch4392 That's where I'm at with the whole thing. I was worried about the change at first but now I'm all for new cool or even crazy ideas with it
well if you watch football (soccer) then it's no big deal. they shoudlve done this a log time ago, they should open it to even more to teams outside the NBA. give the "world champion" a lil bit of weight
I have never really watched soccer so this idea was brand new to me. It makes a ton of sense and i'm surprised it took the NBA this long to do it. Knowing how global the NBA is becoming it would be cool seeing them compete against some of the best teams outside of the U.S. I think we'll see the tournament adapt overtime
@@CourtsideChase yheap. In the UK they have two, domestic cups, which is opened to all of the leagues across UK, give the small town teams a chance to crack it up with the premier league teams and also gives the bigger teams a chance to play their back up and give younger players some experience.
The NBA has to recognize how global they are right now and should at least have meaningful games with teams outside the US
what a stupid comment... which team in the world has a chance against nba teams? None. Period.
