@@chandrukumar173 Hello, most of the colleges that come under VTU offer lateral entry admissions. The rankings wouldn't change much. All you have to look for is branch wise best colleges.

PESIT south campus is now a deemed University under the name PES University (electronic city) and follows same curriculum as PES Universit(ring road).
Placements for both are held together and degree of students from both campuses is same I.e., PES University.
VTU last batch is already placed, From 2021 only University students will sit for placements from EC campus. This means RR and EC campus students are given equal opportunity.

Absolutely true . I am from PES University (EC Campus) doing B-Tech in Computer Science.I am graduating in 2022 June. Now both the PES campuses are same as both of them are University , follows same curriculum, time table , question paper, common placements etc. It is one of the best institution where syllabus is more upgraded and importance is given to technical skills and upcoming technologies rather than fixed old syllabus . Placements are too good . Till now almost 80-100 companies visited in the span of 2-3 months and many more to come till the end of June 2022. Students from different states of India are pursuing education here . Even exam follows specific strict pattern rather than asking old previous questions or book questions. Everything you need to apply i.e technical knowledge is given more importance than theoretical. I am proud to be part of PES

Hello Pradyumna. It totally depends on your interests. If placements are the only criteria, then Information Science in MSRIT would be a better choice. The other advantage of joining MSRIT is the college is located in Bengaluru & you will have plenty of options to do your internships in various software companies or institutions like IISc etc. Hope this helps. @@X_Adi07 yes bro i have got the answer as i am here with cse coming to your question it's above average college my rank was 8.2k if u r from karnatka u won't regret it but if r north indian u might face some problem like me as i am north indian outside college but inside college there won't be any problem people here are helpful and coming to packages i heard that avg has gone about 6.8lacs while highest 31lac so interms of packages it's good and college campus is huge that's all...
