I have no issue with gifting king / donating king. I have a problem with King deleting though. Currently, I see king donation as a skill issue where the aggressor was unable to adequately prevent passage of the king to another player. *important to note: my view on this has changed quite a bit though, but more recently it's been quite stable in this position.

@@AussieDrongo skill issue is not an excuse for bad sportsmanship...sure it can ALSO be a skill issue, but that doesn't excuse the behavior itself...you lost but don't want to accept defeat so you try and screw over the opponent, even if the outcome doesn't change for you (since you're out of the game either way)...unless you're opponent is your friend IRL (or if they were an ass to you in the game*), its just immature

I know you were tired, but you were winning every step of the way there... you were at his walls, not once did he get to yours, he only hit your proxy base. Also, your army were way faster and you could have used it to your advantage by going at him from multiple angles... You figured it out at the end when you got to his landmark, your villagers had time to set up a proxy siege workshop to assist with the snipe. Easy to say, i know.. I just want you to win 😂 Props to orrange though.
Very stressful game, you did well Drongo against the late game order of the dragon. They are terrifying when they have the right unit cap to build with.
Donating king to someone else is toxic behavior. The only reason to do it is to have a sense of revenge against the person who knocked you out of the game. Have some good sportsmanship and let the person that defeated you take the king. Disappointed in you Drongo. Calling it a skill issue is deflecting from admitting that it is actually an anger issue.
is it my impression or drongo could have taken a kill at the very beginning when teal was eliminated but the king wasn't murdered and just a few minutes later blue actually took teal king
Aussie when you do that with the relic at the beginning on purple. you need to bring 5 units like spears with you, you would have been able to use them to tank everything while those 3 monks took the relic. Also I just do not get why putting Relics in towers is not something Aussie goes for right away and put an emplacement in them, yeah he did the one relic, but Aussie had 3 by the time yellow attacked.
the *new* king for FFA? OOTD has been by far the most OP civ in this mode since day 1 of quick match launch. everything about the OOTD scales beautifully with this mode.
Ootd with any additional pop is a big threat but the lack of defensive placements and relics inside is a huge nerf to the civilization that should most definitely be using them.
Hey @drongo what if there is a change where ppl get the pop space get carried over for each kill, if Y player guy kills X gets 50, if some kills X they get 100 or how much ever he got as additional for each kill he made? This would also counter the pesky king donation 🤔
Would over incentivize people to gang up on anyone that has two or more kills. 1 kill 50 pop is fine imho especially with some of the early game shenanigans that can and does happen 😊

You were complaining about ppl donating their kings to someone else when you almost killed them in the first few FFAs you played not deletion. Although in this case it is not out of spite but to make the game more fair for green so it's ok i guess
That’s interesting. I see it as preventing a runaway player, similar to targeting the player with the most kills. Maybe a little more of a gray area when it happens at the start of a game, though.
