- An 18 year legacy. Forged in the fires of competitive success.
The Ego. An era-defining marker. Not just for Planet Eclipse, but for paintball itself. The Ego redefined the standards of performance and reliability that became the benchmark for all others to be measured against and still are to this day, 18 years since its original debut.
The relentless pursuit of improvement.
Improving on its predecessor, the indomitable LV1, has not been an easy task. A marker that has stood the test of time in every competitive and recreational scenario it has been subjected to. But improve we must and of course, improve we have.
The Ego LV2 pushes that concept of improvement with an all new body that provides increased internal volume, a new Cure FT bolt design that generates even lower operating pressures of approximately 115psi, and subsequently an even quieter and softer shot than before. The result is what we consider to be the finest shooting stacked tube marker of all time
The Ego unleashed.
For Ego fans it’s the hoseless construction that will grab the headlines and has been at the very top of the must-have list for many. But there is so much more to admire. Its toolless wraparound grips, the stunning new HPR and LPR package not only looks and performs differently, but also dramatically improves the stability of the LV2. The sizeable thumb gap between the foregrip and trigger guard gives players more freedom and manoeuvrability in the hand, making stance switches effortless.
The grips also allow quick and easy access to some key operational features such as the battery, brand new MME electronics package with USB, optional BLE capability and OLED display, the new toolless eye covers and of course, the adjustable flow controls in the user-serviceable solenoid.
Tuner-centric.
But what sets the LV2 apart from its rivals is the breadth of its performance. Individually set up in the factory, every LV2 is ready to compete in any environment, in any format, straight out of the box. Just set the velocity and go. But for those that like to tinker, the LV2 is all about its vast scope of adjustment, or more accurately, tunability. We don’t believe there has ever been a marker with more adjustability than the LV line. With HPR, LPR, Dwell, forward and rearward rammer speed control, and even optional rammer weights (included), there are so many ways to tune the feel and efficiency of your LV2 to give you the playing experience you want. And to achieve the results you aspire to.
The LV2 is also the first Eclipse marker to sport the exceptional new Shaft S63 barrel system. Featuring the brand new Eclipse PWR Insert, this new 3-piece barrel aims to set the bar as the new gold standard in interchangeable insert barrel systems. Developed with quick-and-easy insert changes in mind while retaining exceptional accuracy, each LV2 comes with two 8.5" micro-honed and colour-coded inserts, (.689 and .685) with a full range of further bore sizes and other accessories available separately.
Generation LV2.
The Ego LV2. The latest evolution of one of the most iconic and enduring marker designs in paintball history. The one that has been so eagerly anticipated by so many, for so long. The one to continue its dominant legacy. The one to inspire a new generation of Egomaniacs.

18 Year!!!! Now I feel really old. I remember having the first Ego when you brought them out back in 2005, damn congrats on the new new version. I still have my Eg07 to this day, after using many markers over the years my 07 was always my backup as it never failed me.
My wallet is never going to get a break lmao
Am I dreaming?? is it finally here?
Jack: Yes... You can stop asking now.
Killed it guys 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Can’t wait to get one
Thank you PE. Order secured. 🙏
beautiful
Just preordered!
Perfection
When will we get the royal purple color scheme to come back?? My Ego 11 is that and I'd love to match it.
I just submitted my pre order!
lv2 will be very very popular once it drops!
LOVE IT
Need this now
YES BABY!! YES! THANK YOU ECLIPSE
getting it for sure
It's about time!
“But babe cmon it’s hoseless”
THEY DID IT
YEAH!
Anyone know how many inserts'll be in the final barrel product and which sizes, if it's more than 2?
5 or 6 not sure
Did they take doing the LV1 promotion video? I liked it better, used to listen to it all.
Letssss GOOOOOOO
Drewl!!!!!!
I will buy this at Oregon SuperGame no tax.
Wow
I still use lv1.1
I CAN’T FU****G BELIVE IT. TAKE MY MONEYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I wanted a 1.6 and im still thinking about getting it, would it be dumb?
I would recommend this gun only if you're used to maintaining both HPR and LPR. Some people are not used to it since the last few years has gone away from having both. It's great for fine tuning but not so great if you're not willing to put in the time to troubleshoot issues. My 2 cents from owning multiple boblongs and going to a Luxe or LV1.6. I prefer not having to deal with both settings.
Just get the LV2
music ?
Good looking marker but I dislike the grips on these high end markers. There way too thick and dull looking grips. Why can’t them make them same paint finish like the body how Luxe do it
What's the cost of this gun??
1600 I was told Maybe 1650
@@warpedspeed05 I went to the website. It's 1599.95.. I didn't know it was put up already..
1720
Want want want
Need need need
The return of thor's hammer!!!
finally but ill wait till they get rid of the steps(its what i call the extra material that gets removed every other version each generation at the poppet)
W
I JUST bought a fking 1.6 two weeks ago. Fml....
lucky you the 1.6 is fantastic and will do anything this lv2 will. Just keep your 1.6 and use it.
So it's the same?
*GEO 4 + OPEN BOLT = EGO LV 2 = OKAY*
This might be the one I buy bnib. :)
Axe + cash.
😄😄😄😄😄
Finaly hose is gone!
I feel the rubber piece on barrel should’ve been in the middle.
The purpose is for people who wrap their thumb around the barrel while shooting so putting it up forward would kinda negate the purpose to my knowledge
@@DavidLee-bw5dm fair enough! This makes sense for sure 🙌🏼
0:34 Someone fill me in on why I see two eye detents rather than just one.
Spare most likely in case bottom breaks
@@gstarpbp I hope your right!
@@nathandoyle7050 that's how it is on my geo 4
Spare
Spare detent's for the win!
Eeh looks like a Cyborg 6
Impulse>This
God and Jesus loves you all spread the word
Maybe a new gun next feel like we keep get copied every year
Thats it?
Ive been running hoseless G6r, also a breach sensing system with predictive 4C eyes. My inline poppit, Victory, is also hoseless. As well as my Insight. You guys are behind the curve. Don’t be proud, you’ve finally just caught up.
That's it? That's all you got to say? Nobody cares or asked.
Doesnt matter who did it first, only who did it best.
Don't act like those shoot better than an ego lmao.
@@frannyboi7965 bob long did it best. pe is using extruding billets of aluminum. bob long always used quality billets ie not extruded. this is why pe grip frames crack and break then and now. extrusion creates lots of stress on the metal and the space lattice structure isnt as stable as other methods of producing billets.
pe can put together a great product, but making a good product is a different story.
@@MuadDiiib sorry, but theres more to producing a paintball gun than the types of aluminum being used. You forgot to mention, air routing complexity, paint handling, critical seals used, and qol features, which by now is being exemplified by PE
Give me now
sad... the design went from a sleek slim design to this bulk. those rubber grips are massive. the 1.6 front grip was great feeling. i hate the CS grips and that what we got here. seems like a missed opportunity to redesign the grip frame to a slim design
A lot of people wanted an LV with a thicker front grip and no air transfer pipe. PE definitely delivered on that.
I’d be curious to hear from someone at PE if it’s even possible to design an LV with a thin foregrip while also having no air transfer pipe.
Dont have soy baby hands
@@gregs6403 They would have to route the air through the bottom of the grip fram ala cs2 up and through either the trigger guard or above it and down the the LPR and back. That's a lot of back and forth and arguably would be an inferior design to this new one. I see some ballers complaining about wired eyes but I don't think it would be physically possible to have cs2 style eyes or even standard GEO syle eyes as it is still a stacked tube poppet. There was no need to reinvent the wheel here. Stacked tube poppet is a pretty standard design. The only major change is this crazy HPR/LPR in the grip...
The LPR, and HPR are in the front grip. This gun is smaller height wise then the 1.6. Want slim, best you're getting is an actual EGO. Slim went out the door once people wanted pipe and hoses gone. This gun is no wider then then every other high end marker.
@@jamesleason4004 Good points. Thanks for the reply!
I don’t like it. No more sfr, and geo has had AA for how long? PE puts out great whips, but I feel that the whole 2 line has been a fail for me. For the record love my lv1.1 pro, cs1, geo 2 and emek, but hate the trigger and lack of sfr as well as gamma bolt on my cs2. Miss my old sl8
HA, You're still out when I shoot you with an A5
Lol how’s it already sold out , that’s a big L
Pre order I already pre ordered mine
Big W for Eclipse though
not worth the money (if you already have a lv1.6) lv1.6 is pratically the same thing no need to mill it down and make it more expensive
Yeah it is. Traded in my 1.6 for a 2. Couldn't be happier. And unless you shot BOTH you can't say it's the same
@@JG-oj9jz unless ur new to paintball and are looking foward to buying a new gun they still shouldnt buy and all they did was mill it down and remove the hose its not that impressive there is no need for it to be more expensive im sure that they shoot identically ive seen the shooting videos and some people dont trade or sell
@@simonrileymw2 milled down? The LV2 isn't milled down. It weighs so many ounces more than a 1.6. Yes they do shoot identical. It's the feel of the shot that make both different. Also the LV2 gets more pods than the 1.6 out of the box
@@JG-oj9jz milled down means less milling i am not a fan of two piped guns because they are heavy but im sure both of them are equally rlly good
@@simonrileymw2 better start going to the gym. If you can't handle a couple ounces more idk what else to say
no mech frame ever, thats a shame.
No need one
it's literally impossible, unless you want to just make an autococker.
@@dancecrew1996 a mech frame? No that's not happening. They could do a mech ego though it don't think there's a market for that. It would probably have to run higher pressure around 150+ psi and would need springs and a qev to run properly. So a totally separate marker like a really high end Spyder.
Bring on the old color combos, come on what are you doing PE? These new colors suck compared to all the varieties of the past... I don't get it!
Ew, wired eyes? JK
Buy an Ego 09 or 10. These newer Ego's aren't it.
Here are guns that have more class:
- System X NME
- Bob Long G6R
- Bob Long Intimidator
- Ego 09 or 10
- Smart Parts Impulse
- Any Angel marker
Planet Eclipse has lost it's touch over the years. There are more options if you don't feel like blowing money on a $1600 washed up line.
You’re delusional my man , g6r is a nice shot but cmon
Rubbah
Are you on crack? Those were solid guns but aside from the egos listed, good luck finding parts of anything were to go down. Especially for angels and impulses. G6r is a solid gun and BL parts arent impossible to find but maintenance on those is a pain.
"Yerrr back in my day" is how you sound. Angel? C'mon they're one of the worst out there
@@johnnybgoode2333 Ain’t no way 💀 Angels were top class. Y’all have no clue. People are so scared of taking care and maintaining markers nowadays. Plus people love to shoot slow. 💀💀💀 Truly laughable.
