Nothing better than seeing a cowboy working cows right. That older man sorted that cow with precision. Don't see that often anymore

Ever thought about giving a fatherly life and lessons to a 30 yr old who never had a father? This series..is beyond what I could explain. Gives me drive. And purpose. Your animals and family are so lucky. Everyone always says your never too old. Ranch life...I feel the clock is ticking for me. Already missed out on 20 years of what your giving your kids. Damn lucky to of grown up in this life..and even luckier to be able to pass it on. This day and age is so difficult

I was the same age as your son when I was allowed to go spend the day in the saddle moving cows. We run a cows and use horses but it would be really handy to have all the facilities that the ranch you are on to work horses.

I like the production quality but it seems like the videos have a high production to content ratio, lead-in/trailer/music. But this was better than the trail riding vid. You left out a lot of stuff, like how to prevent walking back home when horse leaves you in a cloud of dust and runs all the way back to his stall. Or not running the horse on the way home (to prevent him running all the way back into his shelter, not stopping, because he knows where youre going -overheads be damned!) Run him on the way out only until youre sure he'll obey when you put the brakes on. How to tie or picket a horse safely, you might need to dismount and step away from him while youre out on the trail. Did you need a step-up to mount him at the barn? What do you do if you come off his back miles from home? Lot of things tok consider when you take any age hoirse out on the trail. One twig snaps or a leaf moves or a squirrel scampers and youre on your butt -he's gone pecan.

Soto Gremble umm I didn’t watch that video but I don’t take a young horse out on a ride until he is as close to bomb proof as possible and most cowboys worth there salt won’t fall off if a colt comes apart under them lol

@@pressleycoster4164,yes I do know a thing or two about horses. You can start a horse at 2, but you dang sure don't ride until they're four. Bone structure isn't fully developed until at least the age of four.
