George Brown College is a public college of applied arts and technology located in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The college is named after George Brown who was a Canadian politician, newspaper publisher, and one of the Fathers of Confederation. George Brown College was chartered in 1966 by the government of Ontario and it took off in 1968 with 2,009 students. Since its inception, George Brown College has grown leaps and bounds and is now home to more than 30,000 students. Sally Horsfall Eaton was the first chancellor of the college. The college is known to be the first one to start distance education system.
George Brown College rankings reflect its commitment to high quality academics and research. It has been ranked amongst top 10 Canadian colleges for its research activities. In 2021, George Brown College was ranked at 8th position, by RESEARCH Inforsource Inc., in overall research income category. It was also ranked at 4th position for the number of paid students and the number of completed projects.
George Brown College campuses are located at three locations in downtown Toronto; Casa Loma Campus, St. James Campus, and Waterfront Campus. Casa Loma Campus houses Centre for Construction & Engineering Technologies, Continuing Education, Centre for Preparatory & Liberal Studies, Centre for Arts, Design & Information Technology, and Centre for Business. St. James Campus houses Centre for Business, Centre for Arts, Design & Information Technology, Centre for Community Services & Early Childhood, Centre for Hospitality & Culinary Arts, Centre for Preparatory & Liberal Studies, and Continuing Education. Waterfront Campus is home to Daphne Cockwell Centre for Health Sciences. 172 full-time George Brown College courses are offered at these campuses. George Brown College fees varies as per the program and lies in the $15,190 to $27,930 range for two semesters.
George Brown College admissions comprise of a total of 31,328 full-time students and 3,013 part-time students. In addition, 64,531 students were registered for continuing education. International students comprise of 30% of total enrollments. George Brown College acceptance rate is between 50% and 60%. Moreover, the college has 561 full-time faculties and 1,808 part-time faculties.
George Brown College offers various facilities to its students. These include student residence, The George, conference center, cafes, sports facilities, etc. All the three campuses are located near restaurants, shops, and stores. All these facilities provide an opportunity to the students for building networks and positive social connections.
George Brown College has an alumni base of more than 260,000 graduates. Hi sir i wanted to ask you that gbc gives offer according to application cycle like if applying to jan they will start reviewing in jun 20 and further it will take 4 to 6 weeks this was until 2022 and 2023 but the cycle fir 2023 to 2024 shows that offer issuance and intake open is on the same day does that mean they gonna review on the same day when the intake is opened

sir, My profile is perfect for this college and I have applied in this college on 2nd Jan 2023 and still I do not get the offer later and One thing I want to ask you that I have 4 Backlogs in College Education. BUT I don't have any GAP. No less than 6.0 in each and have 6.5 overall, in college I have 8.56 CGPA/ 80.66 %,in 12th 69%. So would be possible to get offer latrer ?
