remember the traitor kid in the stone hashira's flashback who sold them all to a demon?
that kid was zenitsu's fellow student of the former thunder hashira.
basically the thunder hashira found out that that kid became a demon, and not only that, a higher rank moon demon.
so the letter basically telling zenitsu that the former thunder hashira commited unalive because of his disappointment to that kid

It has the same vibe as Tengen yelling "We're going for the win!" it's so hype. I think my favorite part about that final scene is Tanjiro. In Season 3, he was paralyzed with fear just looking at Zohakuten, but the second he sees Muzan, who is infinitely stronger than Zohakuten, he doesn't hesitate in the slightest, he charges in just as fast as the hashira.

I saw on Reddit people calling this season trash and annoyed they didnât beat Muzan. Like people donât know how it was back in the day Frieda vs Goku is epic cause the build up. Also Iâd rather good animation and wait. In the long run it will all release and if good looking it will stay good. Better than rushing.

There's not gonna be a season anymore. Ufotable is releasing a trilogy of films for the series to wrap up. Also, the lead animator for Gyutaro vs Uzui was hired for this episode and he's selected for the trilogy films too. Hyped up! We're in the Endgame now! â€
The trilogy is only Infinity Castle. Sunrise Countdown hasn't even been mentioned.

And also the films aren't being advertised as the finale of demon slayer when they announced the movies they just advertised it as the "Infinity Castle Trilogy" and they didn't say that season was the the finale just season finale
In one of the manga extras, they explain that Ubuyashikiâs wife and two oldest daughters insisted on staying by his side and dying with him in order to make the bait more convincing to trick Muzan. Ubuyashiki still has a son (who will succeed him) and two younger daughters left!

The person of Asakusa is a person who made Muzan a demon by scratching his neck and giving him blood as a means to escape from Tanjiro when Tanjiro met Muzan for the first time in Season 1 of Demon Slayer.
When Nezuko overcomes the sun in season 3, Tamayo has succeeded in making use of Nezuko's blood for treatment and making it a rational demon.
This was the first time ubuyashiki clan was going to encounter muzak in a thousand years. No one but tanjiro had seen him till now. That's why ubuyashiki had to make sure he gave it all to make it count(unfortunately involved him and his entire family dying). That's why he did what he did.

This is why I hate people who trash on chainsawman for trying cgi. Just cause itâs not perfect. The more we practice better it gets. Look how cars used to be a pain to animate now we use cgi and it used to stink and be noticable. Some shows today you canât tell. Same with cgi gundams and stuff. I couldnât tell the cgi in some DS.

@scy11a17 It's worth it if you don't wanna wait eons to see the rest of the series animated or deal with slow paceing. However, if you're ok waiting, then wait cause it's gonna be glorious.
I would however recommend reading the Rengoku one shot and the Giyu and Rengoku Gaidens. Those are canon to the story but I'm not sure if they'll ever be adapted, there very good reads. I'd also recommend reading the three light novels. However, you'd have to refrain from reading the first chapters in both the second and third light novels as those go into spoiler territory the anime has not reached yet.

The fact Zenitsu more composed and locked in than the hashiras as they fall just says he going to be a menace, a thunderous blitz! âĄ
If you rewatch the explosion in slow motion, you can see the metal spike shrapnel (that Muzan mentions are to slow his regeneration) coming up from the floor beneath them.
Great attention by the animators for such a small and easy to miss detail!

guys i realised smth in the episode 1 of blacksmith village ark we can clearly see where the fight with douma will be (the temple on water) but actually if you pay attention, we can also see where the fight with kokushibo will occur, it's the moment akaza looks up at them columns, it's the place where kokushibo fights but upside-down
The discussion said its wild for the master to keep his kids around while his plan takes place BUT:
he didnât have anyone guarding him, which looks incredibly suspicious since heâs the head of the corps so for Muzan to see the kids, reassured him in his ego. Muzan said it himself, he miscalculated the Masterâs hatred. The Master knew the sacrifices to make and his wife and kids willingly followed him cause they knew it would give the Hashiras an opening.
Also remember at the final training there was a black hair âgirlâ congratulating tanjiro, kanao and genya.. so the whole family isnât gone.
Gyomei in action was just a small taste of whats to come, get ready !
Fun fact: Despite not killing him, Gyomei is the only known person to actually behead Muzan.
Just for clarification @18:25, there are hundreds of demons (lower moon level) + several upper moons for them to deal with.

Rengoku is definitely dead but, as you know, ghosts do play a role in this show and the most important times - like the two who trained Tanjiro on the mountain, or the times that Nezuko has been woken and approached by her mother, or the time one of Tanjiro's siblings stopped him from killing himself from overexertion when he was fighting Daki. Reading ahead a bit in manga, a number of other ghosts will turn up as the battle unfolds.

I love how not only ubayashiki has a plan but also muzan since eh teleported all the demon slayers to infinity castle meaning ubayashiki isn't the only one he wants dead but all the demon slayer corps
The layers of fantastic writing this season is incredible. Put out the drones to locate all the demon slayers after gathering all the demons in the castle so it accomplishes many things. All our main characters are in the same spot for the finale, we have enough demons that action and animation is going to be incredible and enough extra demon slayer grunts to sacrifice for cool stuff
So there a Rengoku Special Side Story about how he became a hashira. And I hope that the Taisho Secret was teasing it. It would be cool if they adapted it to an OVA.

Besides the beautiful animation I think my favorite part of this episode was getting to hear Muzanâs inner monologue and seeing him get shaken for the first time got me so hyped
That explosion, the melting snowflakes and the realistic fire was insane!
Muzan stepped on the Tiger's tail, and brought on the dragon's wrath.
Gyomei's scream gave me chills, along with the Hashira being described as the Dragon's wrath. The final chill came when I heard Rengoku talk to both Mitsuri and Tanjiro during the secret.
