This year has brought massive change for so many people around the world. Everybody has been affected by this pandemic, wherever you live and whatever you do. For the live music fans, we miss that energy, that connection. Shows and Distancing, my third album and first live album, has arrived at a time where I hope at least some sense of relief and nostalgia can be provided to you.
Recorded throughout last year on the road in the USA, this record takes you through support sets with Justin Hayward (Moody Blues), headline shows, a live duet from Los Angeles and even excerpts from my first ever headline concert from over the pond. New York, Florida and California, three of my favourite places. I hope to return soon!

This performance deserves 100 times more views than 150K. Absolute talent, stunning instrument playing, amazing musicality, and also love the sense of humour😄. Instant fan 200%. To be honest, I would pay a lot for a blu-ray or a digital version of a show like this one, which could be for me a proper way to support the insane talent of Mr Dawes.

That tele in the background is a real tease! But seriously, who needs electric guitar when he does that distortion shred near the end of his performance. Of course Mr. Dawes is nothing but "firsts" in his mastery of guitar and it will be exciting to watch him push the limits even further for hopefully many years to come. I have just discovered Mike the other day and watching him has seriously blown my mind, his skills are beyond words but most importantly it's how he plays the notes, so much soul and feeling, slow dancing actually made me shed a tear, absolutely incredible musician, amazing!

I saw Michael Hedges in Ann Arbor years ago. We were in line and I hear this voice “I’ll see you at the Bell Tower”…it was Michael driving slowly by venue. It set the atmosphere for me. I was in this sacred space that I will forever cherish.
