As a foodie, I could see myself following everything here except having smoothies for breakfast and lunch everyday. It's definitely good for your health if food is not one of the main source of joy for you, but to me it's depressing 😭
Tbh I'm mostly just amazed by how cheap meal prepping can be in Canada 11:00. When I was in Toronto I cooked everything myself and still spent easily > 500 CAD for my groceries with things like red meat, chicken breast, blueberries, and vegetables (unbelievably expensive compares to where I live atm). I hope to adjust my grocery plan like OP does when I go back so I can save a bit more living in Toronto.
I'm surprised by some of the negative comments. This is one of my favorite pieces of content from you so far. Thanks for breaking down the routine. Seeing it in this way helped me visualize how it can be done practically and realistically.
I bought a nutribullet years ago and I mean many years ago and it's still working great and it has been used for everything from soups to smoothies to grinding coffee grounds. I totally recommend this little affordable machine before considering the really expensive ones.
What a strange left-turn for the channel! I’m glad it works for this guy, but I find this whole lifestyle kind of eerie and dystopian. There’s something about the aspirational perfection, big tech and endless routine which totally creeps me out. I’m happy he has found something which works for him, but this vid makes me think of modern humanity as an army of cyborg drones pelotoning towards death. Thanks for the existential crisis!
It's really nice to see how different we all are...I think he's got some really good ideas and tips here and you take from it what helps make sense in your life....I think people are permitted to deviate...it's all alright.
As a dentist I wanna bring up that the self cleaning of your teeth via chewing hard food is overthrown by "drinking" food. My compassion you have to live in a complex. We moved rural. I can't stand sharing a home with strangers. This raises my stress levels to oblivion.
btw, most of the olive oil sold in north america is not actually real olive oil! even the ones labeled extra virgin. there are no rules governing what companies can call their oils extra virgin, so literally everyone does it.
Bought a Xiaomi Mi Band 4 for 19$ a couple of years ago. Battery still lasts for ~20-25 days. The most current version (mi band 7) has more features, bigger display and lasts 14 days. It doesn't have all the bells and whistles that an apple watch has. But it does everything I need it to do. It tells me the time, alert me of calls, I can navigate recent messages, my current music, track my sleep, heart rate, daily steps, workout. It has an alarm, timer, stopwatch, "find my phone" function etc... When it comes to nutrition, I think we need to be careful of what we recommend. Whey protein is the bi-product of cheese production and is used as an extra revenue stream from what has otherwise been a waste product. There are currently strong correlation between dairy consumption and prostate- & breast cancer according to WHO. But not enough research has been done to make a proper pinpointing why that is. To minimize the risk I would just get rid of "whey protein" in favor of beans, chickpeas or lentils instead. Which show absolutely no negative side effects health-wise
This is very informative and good luck on your path. Do lentil and other veggies need to be cooked? Can I just buy frozen and blend them all together ?
Well crap I threw all those caps and stuff away because I've been minimizing I never thought of doing this. I have a 3,500 watt NutriBullet I think it's as good as the Vitamix and way easier to clean. Dang I'm going to have to try your meal system it's awesome.
Damn! that nutribullet method, the ring for sleep tracking, the exercise habit (and all the mentioned tools) are 💯!! The mental health and design message too. What an important message. I hope everyone is interested in making progress on all these fronts. They are all important. Not the tracking or what have you, but figuring out what would work best for them.
Thank you for saying the bit about social connections, I think that is so important and without this element, the rest isn’t that enjoyable for me personally. Question about your meals: do you cook and eat solid food or have you replaced all of your meals now with liquid shakes? And how is it working for you? Thanks!
This might be nitpicking, but I'll still point it out. Protein from plant-based foods are not equal to meats, dairy and eggs. Normally, it's not a problem, but since your smoothies rely heavily on those, you should keep it in mind.
I wish I’d got the ultrahuman, I have the oura, the tracking is way off compared to my watch. Steps, heart rate etc. also it won’t record daytime sleep or naps which is annoying as I do shift work 😢
If two tech people got marred I wonder would this be the wedding ring used they would need to make a ladies diamond ring 2 guys could use them as wedding ring not to wear in the gym makes sense as a guy that worked in a jewellery store back when i was thinking about it good thing nerve did it he told me that titanium ring cant be easy cut off of you get a hand injury swelling makes super hard to remove
Genuine question, doesn't blending remove a not insignificant amount of nutritional value? IIRC it's something to do with breaking down the food's cell walls (?) This has always put me off from using blenders as a consistent food source
Absolutely. I work with people with swallowing problems who need modified texture foods. Dieticians have always advised me that even chopping food changes the nutritional content and not for the better. So blending means losing even more content. Plus you lose the fibre you get from chewy foods. My patients don’t often have much choice, they have to have softer foods. They & carers have to meal plan more carefully to obtain as much nutritional value as possible. Blending when you don’t have chewing or swallowing problems seems unnecessary to me. But to each their own: if it’s the only way you can eat vegetables that you dislike, then it’s better than no vegetables at all
I did not know about the ultrahuman ring, sounds like a good option. I've been using the Whoop band for half a year now, and the accuracy is far more decent for sleep and recovery than my Apple Watch.
I’ve eyed up this ring. I’m really into collecting nice time pieces, but I kinda miss the measurements from my smart watch. Going to wait until Samsung release theirs and compare, but the Ultrahuman ring looks really nice.
Bro I have seen people older than 100 on videos and they are literally mummies begging to die but cant even speak. A year ago my great grand mother turned 99 and although she is in great health for her age, she cant really go out that much, if at all.
I actually like all of those things a lot individually. Except preparation is so time-consuming. It does sound disgusting and I don't really care for peanut butter all that much either. But I think I'll try it because I just need to eat healthy really fast because I work so much. Thank you Daniel
@@Madiannereid Yeah or maybe there's a third option in which he makes money from a single sponsor in an otherwise "normal" video rather than doing this video with 0 value for the watcher since every product is sponsored and the reviews are never going to be unbiased. Thank you Daniel. Wasn't expecting a video on this from you but am pleased to see it. I would have loved to hear more about your supplements.

A true but somewhat ironic take? Link your source and if it's reputable I'll add it as a correction to the video.
What are we selling.? Oh yeah it's every episode upon reflection..
Interesting to watch how designer's way to set up a system for daily life. Thanks for sharing
What do you eat for dinner or do you only eat 2 meals a day?
Do you pre-cook or steam the broccoli, cauliflower and lentis before adding to the blender?
Just picked up the Fitbit Charge 6. If that ring is anything close to the FDA approved sensors in the Fitbit, it's an easy pickup.
Please do video about your latest minimalist wardrobe 2024
Would you mind sharing your smoothie resume with ingredient amounts?
This is very informative and good luck on your path. Do lentil and other veggies need to be cooked? Can I just buy frozen and blend them all together ?
I love how minimalist and optimise his meals are! Insane bro
i’ve been using the nutribullet the same way for years for all the same reasons. 💪

You convinced me to get a nutribullet. This will definitely help me bulk and reach a healthy weight
Tried that green smoothie I can definitely taste the broccoli and califlower lmao I guess my blender sucks

Can't condone an unsustainable liquid diet.
Interesting and useful. As always 👍
Great video.
Nice video👍 i just tried the breakfast smoothie and its not for me.. props to you if you can drink that every morning

that was a very long advert
If I wanted to make money I'd be talking about AG1. Not broccoli & lentils.
@@DanielTitchener You convinced me to buy a nutribullet just for the extra cups I can buy, which I didn't know. Don't interact with the haters.

Kudos for asking! It's a complete myth.
Breaking down the cell walls of plant foods actually makes the nutrients inside more accessible, and easier to absorb! Blend away 😊
It reduces the fibre content therefore making digestion much faster. Source, the gut health doctor

Wow! Thanks, Daniel, a lot to take in here!
I just bought the ring after your recommendation, as I recently sold my Apple Watch.
Exercising at home, hmm, yeah, I'm not sure if my landlord will be happy when I drop a 120 kg barbell on the floor.
Shark jumped.
I know this is off topic, but that bracelet on the apple watch ultra looks stunning. Which one is it?

With those two smoothies, how's the bathroom party every morning?

Hi @daniel , trynna reach out to you for a while.. care to spare a moment of your time?

Yup, that's why we got to keep moving, and stay as strong for as long as possible. You want the quality to go with the longevity.
Not the content I'm here for. Unsubscribed

Wait you are drinking broccoli, cauliflower and lentils???? That's pretty disgusting.

The Galaxy ring is on the corner as well expected to be launched later this year
Same with Apple. Would be wise to hold until then before getting a ring.
Incredibly fast and boring! 🥴
