Darasimi is such a story teller😂😂😂 Tolu said soft music from the other building 😂😂😂 I love you Ella, beautiful mama of two. One love for each person, nobody should take two o❤❤❤
TED, sisters, Can you please talk about confrontation with wisdom? A lady was crushing on my husband at a time in our shared apartment, he told me about how uncomfortable he felt with her but didn't have the strenght to tell her off. She was all over him even in my presence, I had to prayerfully confront her, I told her I wasn't comfortable and I needed her to stop(I was practically commanding the lustful spirit in her with authority), I told her how beautiful she is and that her own husband is searching for her, I then prayed for her for marital settlement and she bust into tears saying she didn't know what came over her, she avoided us until she left the following week. Sometimes we also need to prayerfully confront and set boundaries.
Your husband should've taken charge and told her off though. you can't always be there and he should know how to guard himself prayerfully and with wisdom too.
@@Tjkolade on the contrary sir, I appreciate his transparency, accountability and vulnerability more than his weakness at that point. He is not always that weak, It was surely more than ordinary, he needed help at the time and I was there. We have other people he can be accountable to if I wasn't there, after all, no one is 💯% strong all the time. I can't blame my husband for a strenght he didn't have, if i do that, why then does he need an helpmeet?
I experienced the same as well, in fact i have had dreams of this lady even before she came into our lives. She began misbehaving around my husband, when she sees me coming she just becomes very hostile to me. I had to report to one of my mentors, who guided me on dealing with the issue. We gave her space, and I prayerfully took her access to us away. We thank God for the spirit of discernment and wise counsel.
The heart of the matter is a matter of the heart. One thing I settled with my husband very early in our marriage is that I am not going to be faithful to him because I love him, but because I love God; and since He's omnipresent, my defence is as voiced by Joseph: "How can I do this and sin against my God?" And really, if you are going to love your neighbour as yourself (your spouse being your neighbour in this instance) you would know how to set necessary boundaries. May the Lord help us all.
Definitely the Oyor couple is a blessing to this generation. After the husband blessed us powerfully here is Cameroon, now it's the wife through True Talk. May God bless TED for this powerful message 🙏 🙌
Sharing personal examples from your lives (ones you don't mind sharing publicly) can be very helpful. For instance, I recently watched a video of JayMikee sharing his experiences with parent-child relationships. It helped me understand that we all go through similar situations, but prioritizing pleasing God is a guiding principle in your lives.
@@naomitinor9657 Greetings, Ms. Naomi, I respectfully disagree with your statement. In my opinion, individuals have the right to choose whether to share personal examples. My suggestion was simply to ask if they are willing to share a few examples from their personal lives to illustrate points. I used JayMikee's video as an example to convey my request. It helped me understand that we all face similar situations, but with the wisdom of God, we can overcome them and be like Jesus. I am a huge fan of these ladies and admire their successes. Please, remember that Jesus loves you, and it's important not to judge others too quickly. Have a blessed week, ma'am.
This popped up my timeline and of cos you've gained a new subscriber. This right here has a whole wealth of knowledge packed in one video. Thing is how many men are willing to listen and put this to work? Most of them would rather handle it on their own instead of including the wife. Thanks for doing this ladies 🤗🤗💕💕
God bless the TED sisters. The issue of dealing with weaknesses and being contented as explained by Tolu is so timely for me. Buttressed the point so well.
To keep chasing our spouses is very important, even our relationship with God, we keep chasing Him to express our unending love for Him. God bless you TED❤
God will continue to bless TED and all the crew of True talk. Another wonderful episode. Happy birthday to Mrs Darasimi Oyor. Long life and prosperity ma in good health and wealth. May the Lord continue to bless and keep you ma. Thanks for being a blessing to this generation 😊❤️
This is really good! Communication, vulnerability, weaknesses, prayers etc Pls let's have part 2 - "Setting boundaries with family members especially in-laws". How far is too far?
True. Some people are just emotionally empty and vulnerable and also clueless. They find themselves emotionlly entangled & did not realize when it was going on. Mentors and mentees take care. Boundaries are very important. Wives can discern a woman with I'll motives. Husbands can also tell when another man has a bad motive. Listen to each other. Am very old school in the sense that I can't directly speak to someone's husband. I always go through the wife first. I find it very disrespectful when people do that.
It all depends anyway. Imagine the husband been your boss, your pastor, your colleague or your classmate..... I think the bottom line is respect for his family and respect is reciprocal
@@opeoluwasabainah6532 True. But am sure you get my point. Even if he is my classmate, there are boundaries as to what we can talk about, when & where. What would I be discussing with my boss during off duty hours? And if I have to, it would be in the full knowledge of my husband including trips outside the office. Secrecy is where sin is conceived & thrives.
Some of these things are just unnecessary insecurities. I see no problem for anyone to speak to someone's husband directly. As a matter of fact I personally will not go through the wife of someone I know first just to speak with the person, I can only extend my regards to her before I end my call. I personally don't mind when people talk to my husband directly be it on official purposes or just courtesy calls the same way he doesn't get upset or expect people to go through him to talk to me. At the same time we love and trust each other and have access to each others phones and by the grace of God have being faithful to God and our vow. Some women are so insecure with any sister around their spouse to the extend that even if you convert them and there and their spouse to conjoined twins, they will unconsciously still act like police dogs on innocent sisters for probably only greeting their spouse This in most cases is as a result of unhealthy mentality an so on.
Thank you so much LADIES, this is powerful💪🏽 However, another thing I will suggest you add is that No man is too strong enough by themselves to not fall into temptation especially sexual sin with the opposite Sex. Sometimes especially “pastors” or “men of God” think it is impossible for them to fall for other ladies outside marriage. So they think it is ok to go on chatting, counseling the opposite sex alone, conducting prayer sessions at odd hours and ladies opening up to them with their private lives without involving their wives.
Wow.... That spec crush thing is really a weakness to me. This topic is an eye opener More Grace Ma'ams Pls pray for me and others in this weakness and other prayers 🙏🙏🙏
❤I thank you guys for this very practical issue you handled in this episode. May God continue to give you more inspiration and make your homes more and more a good example of Christian marriage. I felt there is something that still needs talking about, which is, How do you deal with the person? Is it possible to throw light on this in Part 2? As this episode handled how the couples are to handle themselves in terms of discipline, setting boundaries, communication, and prayers. But how should one handle the other person? Is there any need to call the attention of the person who is having a crush on your spouse, warn or report such to your pastors? Especially when the person is going out of his/her way to evidently make you uncomfortable and stepping into your space intentionally. For example in the instance given by the lady whose husband's crush came to the house unexpectedly, could she have let the woman know it was time to leave since she, the wife, was leaving for work? So what advice can we have on practically handling such affronts? Thank you and more grace to you all in Jesus' name.
This is awesome I must confess am not married yet but I have learnt a lot which I believe can help in the Marital journey. Thanks so much TED, God bless your ministry will not die in Jesus Name Amen
This is my first time watching True talk with TED, I've known about this show for a very long time but I don't watch because I feel I don't need it, but this really blessed me, I got value and I love the funny moments, the table shakers cracked me up 😂, thank you mas, God bless.
Some women on the other hand are pathetically insecure that they do not want to see any woman even greet their husband. Growing up, I had watched a clip where a woman went to a fetish priest to get a substance to make a young beautiful lady run mad just because she used to exchange greetings with her husband. That is how this innocent lady's life was ruined simply because one mentally sick lady imagined she had a crush on her husband even though she didn't. Some married women are so very insecure that even if you miraculously make them and their husband to become conjoined twins , they will still be venomous and bitter when any lady says hello to their conjoined better half simply because their imagination tells them oh she must be having a crush on her husband.
Wow! God bless you real good It's as if I have never watched your show before This episode is such a blessing Thanks for yielding mas Your labors shall never go in vain
