    I have a small farm of 23 chickens and I hatched them all from 4 chickens that my uncle had given me to start, I’d suggest creating a home made(or buy) incubator so you don’t have to worry about getting birds all the time and you could constantly be growing instead of worrying about where you will get them next, with COVID and crooks and just bad luck sometimes. If I were you I would definitely hatch my own eggs..

    Now, that is the spirit right there Fam! Grit and persistence wins at the end of the day. Nothing is impossible, the word itself says, I am "POSSIBLE". Great job bro, just subscribed to your channel, with love from the States. My brother and I back home are thinking of starting our farm few weeks from now- just got some acres to start with a plot first and go from there. Hope to see more of your videos. I would be interested more in the feed production, it appears that is the finances sucker. If one could circumvent this by self producing feed than relying on feeds from outside/suppliers, will indeed save lots and give a better profit margin while being confident on what you feed your birds. Win-win on both sides.

    • @FarmUp
      @FarmUp Před 4 lety +2

      Very true. Feeds are the most expensive thing. The complexity with producing them on the farm is maintaining good quality. If you can get that right, then it's best. Getting it right can be very hard though for layers. I'm moving towards that tho

    This is very inspiring, lots of love from the UAE, I am thinking seriously of starting this project, next month in my home country Zimbabwe, what I have is a big piece of land, I have done my budgets on the houses and sinking a borehole and solar panels but I want to be sure of the feeds , can you please do a video for us sharing with us how you make the feeds from the day old chicks to the laying phase, I know they have different ratios etc, that’s where some of our concerns are, we really need to know what type of feed to give at what age of the birds

      Well, you should think about what to do right, not how many can die
