Train Sim World 2: How to Install Mods (Steam/PC)

As I've seen many ask how to install mods for TSW2, the location, the type of mod etc., I figured I'd make a brief video going over such things.
Most mods will cover the same process here, barring a few exemptions.
To delete a mod, simply right click and delete.

Wouldn't it be nice if DTG had an integrated mod manager like ATS/ETS2 where you can actually enable and disable mods with a proper interface, not just the file browser.

I have only today bought the game and I was trying to install a skin using TSW2 Livery Manager. No luck. I also have a steam install. Have you had any luck with skins that are not pak files? By the way, great videos. I am a big fan of Western Maryland and enjoyed the one you made working the Hagerstown Yard.

Naw, sorry man I only currently use pak file skins, I dont use the other method. There are some videos out there on how to install the livery manager I think

Just out of curiosity, I own both Train Simulator Classic and TSW 2. It seems to me like there are more DLC for Train Simulator Classic than TSW 2. Have you played both and or which is your favorite Train SImulator in general?

You mentioned that you sometimes have to move the files around to get them to work due to the new engine update. I used to have a large variety of mods which all stopped working due to the update. Any idea where I can put the .pak files to get them working again? Thanks

All mods had to be updated by the mod author since Rush Hour released. Check to see if the mods you want now say '4.26' in steam/epic edition
