  • New Dacia LODGY 2019 Review Interior Exterior (7 Seat).
    Dacia Lodgy is a family MPV with up to seven seats which combines a high standard of comfort with a roomy cabin and a spacious boot. It is the first of a new generation of Dacia models and packs all the brand’s trademark strengths: exterior styling which mirrors its robust build and large cabin, front-end looks in keeping with the brand’s new visual identity (attractive grille and bumpers, higher waistline), wide protective mouldings and smart rear light cluster design.
    The impression of quality exuded by Dacia Lodgy’s occupant-friendly cabin is optimised by a long list of features:
    - a new dashboard design incorporating a new centre fascia-mounted radio and multimedia MEDIA NAV system with seven-inch (18cm) wide-screen display,
    - new status-enhancing upholsteries,
    - chrome trim details: air vent surrounds (depending on version), centre console surround, door handles, gear lever knob insert, logo surround, plus gloss black details for centre fascia and steering wheel (depending on version),
    - driver-friendly controls: door-mounted front/rear electric window controls, door mirror adjustment control on the left-hand side of the dashboard and heater/climate controls towards the top of the centre console,
    - a practical, safe and driver-friendly high-up driving position.
    Three engines are available for Dacia Lodgy: the 1.6 MPI 85, the 1.5 dCi 90 and the 1.5 dCi 110. The model will also be available with the new 1.2 TCe 115 engine at a later date.
    Renault's budget arm Dacia is giving its two affordable workhorses some updates both inside and out.
    Dacia introduced the revised Dokker and Lodgy models about two months ago, but it’s only customers are able to order them in France. The novelties brought by the mid-cycle refresh are in line with those of the Logan and Sandero facelifted models unveiled at last year’s Paris Motor Show. The slightly more rugged Stepway-badged versions have also received a nip and tuck, including the new 16-inch wheels and redesigned grille derived from the Duster.
    Once you hop inside the cabin, the first change you’ll see is going to be the four-spoke steering wheel featuring what Dacia describes as being a “Soft Feel” trim. Keen-eyed readers will also notice the updated design of the air vents along with chrome accents on the dashboard. Dacia is also adding a new upholstery and is giving buyers the option to order a rearview camera.
    You will be happy to hear both the Dokker and Lodgy Stepway models now come with a more generous array of standard equipment, including an armrest built into the driver’s seat, one-touch window function, and folding tables for passengers sitting in the back. In addition, Dacia will install an extra stowage net for the front passenger to store bits and bobs.
    Dacia France is now taking orders for the two models and will have them in dealerships from April. Pricing for the Dokker begins at €9,650 in the entry-level version with the naturally aspirated SCe 100 engine, while the flagship Stepway with the thrifty dCi 90 diesel will set you back €15,850. As for the Lodgy, it kicks off at €10,150 and goes all the way up to €16,450 for the same engine and trim combos. If you want your Lodgy with seven seats, that'll be an extra €500 over the equivalent five-seat model.
    Renault’s low-cost division is now gearing up for a very important launch, the second-gen Duster expected to debut later this year and rumored to spawn a seven-seat version.

    My advice is to wait for 2020 - new generation of Logan/Sandero is coming and next should be new Lodgy/Dokker (2021?). I am owner of Logan MCV II - 73PS (phase1) from 2016 and with every new generation Dacia improve quality of their cars, so 1-2 years is not far away from now... Comment on present generation? Really bad sound isolation, missing engine temperature info on dashboard - generally digital display is old - can be present only one info at the moment (or clock, or temperature, or mileage, or cruise speed...) but space is more then enough, air condition section with cruse control is too low and require from driver to look down for 1-2 seconds. Otherwise, for 55000 km behind, never stop, just regular maintenance in official services

    I never bought a Dacia. In Portugal is reputed to be a car that is white brand Renault. If Renault is no longer what to talk about Dacia. I bought a car this year but I opted for the more reliable Peugeot. There are not many on the road either. In a stand that I visited advised not to buy Dacia for the poor quality. And also there is no beauty, they are ugly. In short - Weak and ugly.

    • @SDADanCars
      @SDADanCars  Před 4 lety +2

      You have to think the Dacia have great price for the quality. They sell alot of cars in the world. They have the most cheap cars , the material quality is lower but they are very practical. 👍

    • @PANRamalho
      @PANRamalho Před 4 lety +1

      @@SDADanCars The relationship between price and quality is not a factor that leads people to buy Dacia. The prices of a Dacia utility car make no big difference to the rest. The problem is the bad image that the brand has, the weak materials, and the models have no appealing design. From the opinions I have heard, in Portugal is not a car that people like. The Peugeot 208 and more expensive ones can be seen much more on the roads in Portugal. A knowledgeable car salesman advised me not to buy Dacia for its poor quality of materials and poor interiors.

      @@franco912 Wrong. I already had an opinion about the quality of Dacia. This salesman I spoke to had several brands of semi-new cars on the stand and advised not to choose Dacia. Just confirmed my opinion. I ended up not buying him any cars and chose to buy a new Peugeot. Dacia may be cheaper but loses in the quality of materials and engines. Nor does it have appealing templates choosing to copy existing ones from other brands with their results.
