On my erhu both strings are on the same side of the peg. That makes it easier to tune in the same direction but is there any problem with that? PS: It is very nice if you finish the demonstration with playing a little tune :-)

Hi! Sorry for the late reply. It is not ideal for them to be in the same direction. Might produce some noise.
