Also so happy to see a high risk taker as me! :) I did my mechanical engineering then sifted to Software development then Cybersecurity :) Currently working at Salesforce as a Cybersecurity Engineer

Im from a Non tech background but since I spent more than 5 years working with a Reinsurance broking firm, that's where I got to know about what CFAs and Actuaries do in big finance firms. Now I'm planning to pivot to Tech (something related to Quant Dev) and pursuing things related to the same. That's where I stumbled upon this channel called Coding Jesus. Great interview but theres something negative i need to comment. Makes sense that she speaks her own language so she can express herself better but also makes us (english speakers) get lost in key sentences just because we dont understand it. Since its supposed to be in english I believe she used her own language way too much because i felt lost sometimes. Apart from that, amazing content, very helpfull and great interview.
I guess it really depends, the Prob Stats in QF is next level, in comparison to MIS. Also, calculus is an important topic. QF is an intersection of Finance, Programming and Maths. So, this can get really tricky at times. But, as mentioned in the video, it's a long term game. With persistence you can surely get there.
