Step by step on how to remove and install side skirt of 04 to 08 Acura TSX, Honda Accord. When removing the side skirt, lift it up before pulling it out so you don't break the clip.

The clips on the sides just turn 90degrees and come out. You don’t have to pry them out. The rocker panel also just have to be tapped forward with a mallet and slides off the clips.

Be careful I found that the skirt on the driver's side of my UK '05 Accord has to be pushed towards the rear of the car (from the front wheel well) to remove it. Luckily I didn't break any clips trying to push it forwards. But apart from that this video was very helpful to me. I'm trying to treat some rust in that area.
💯 correct I had to do that as well but I didn't realize that till I broke the 1st clip. Florida here
Do you still have the car? I’ve got a 2006 and I’m dealing with some rust in the middle area of the skirt, underneath (needs a bit of welding). I’m in the uk as well. Can you say some more about your rust issue? I’m currently Lanoguard protecting my car .
A Uk car still needs to be prised off at the back because of that raised part at the rear. You can’t just slide it back as it is restricted at the rear wheel arch.

how not to do it...
You never ever pull that thing off, you slide it back and remove it.
Those clips that you were pulling with a screwdriver needs to be rotaded 45 degree and just pull them out by hand.
I cringed when I saw him pulling it up and out. You can damage it that way. Slide the entire rocker toward the back after removing the plastic rivits.

My clips don't sit in the housing and keep falling out even after I turned them wtf, I just bought these clips off eBay for 8$ they are completely identical to the OG clips but they don't sit inside the housing this is so frustrating I had to super glue them in

How do you properly take it out ? I had taken out all the clips on my 02 and I still can't seem to take it out no matter what I try to do. I've even tried prying it but I stopped cause i don't want to break anything.
3 screws and clips are holding it
You have to push the rocker forward or back, but from the orientation of the clip mounts on the rocker, it seems like you would just push it toward the back of the car.
