I wish the charging dock was optional to make it more affordable. I think it’s 70-80 alone for an extra dock so I’m sure the price is hidden in the retail price somewhere. I also feel like we’re paying a premium for the trueplay feature. I can’t really think of any other Bluetooth speakers that offer that. Also, I don’t think you’ll like the Roam. If you think the Move is too expensive for what it is, the Roam is EXTREMELY too expensive for what it is. The Roam to me has the sound quality of a $99 speaker, it just packs a lot of features. Lol and one more thing, I do agree the jbl extreme would be a more suited option for most people but as I get older I’m liking balanced, clear and intelligibility in my sound. Jbl extreme is too v shaped EQ sounding to me now. Plus I like the eco system aspects of Sonos
In another CZcams review, the guy said the Move 2 needed a lot of space to sound good and it wouldn't sound good in a smaller room. I'm very concerned about room size and distance to the rear wall. I notice you even used the Move 2 in the middle of the room which is not practical for me.
Ultimate ears hyperboom blows this out of the water!!!! Same price and the hyperboom is bigger. Don't get sonos, get the ue hyperboom. You'll thank me!
To me it looks like two very different products. Sonos is water resistant and dust and shock proof. The USB is also 5,3. You can change the battery in the Sonos once the capacity decreases also. Obviously haven't read all about the suggestion you made. But does it connect to other products like a subwoofer and one more unit like it perhaps a soundbar for under the TV and two smaller Sonos satellites? Is it voice controlled? Does it auto adjust to its surroundings? I juuuust ordered the Sonos Move Gen 2 - and I am still satisfied I decided to get Sonos. From what I read.
Hyperboom has big sound, but really poor with soundstage and details. I owned 2 hyperbooms and they are great for bass and filling up a large room, but horrible for using for movies and it would be too muddled with midrange/ bass even after changing the EQ.
Thank you! I wanted to get the sonos roam and im glad you mentioned it here!
For sure! Thanks for your comment 👏

Can you pair a move2 with a 300?
They can be groups in the app
Can you connect it to your pc bluetooth?
After registered to the same network in app, you can use your pc blue tooth is ready to connect.

It's 7kg...4 more than the sonos move 2. Sound and size are relevant, think.
