    I've been using this for a bit and I like it so far. I think once the Quest Pro or the Quest 3 comes out, this would be massively better as text on here is still a little too fuzzy for a full day of work for me. The 2 things I would like for them to implement are being able to use the Quest's virtual keyboard as a keyboard for the computer, and your hand or joysticks as a mouse. the other, is a bar on the bottom where you can grab and rotate all the monitors around. The issue I have is when I want to use the monitor to my left, i have to spin or constantly look that way. If I could grab a bar and spin the monitors around like a wheel on its side to easily put that monitor in front of me, and then spin all the monitors to my left. I know they have something like that that moves them when they are snapped to the grid, but it goes all over the place and I like them set up how I like them.

    I was watching a show using Plex in Immersed and had the same issue with the sound. It was coming from my computer speakers as well as in the headset. I simply turned down the PC volume all the way and it still played in my headset, so that worked for me

    This would have been gold back when I was on the road all the time. I used to ship two 34" monitors with me from work site to work site. Imagine if all I had to do was bring an AR headset with me. The one big thing you'll still need a screen for is video teleconferencing.

    Immersed is an awesome idea. Big things coming down the line from them imo

    Have you tried the virtualization environments!? I have started pancake gaming in VR in these rooms. Blast my music and it's a whole gaming immersive interaction!

    Do you recommend this for graphic design purposes? How is the responsiveness and everything? Can you get the exact feel like physical controlling? I mean cursor responsive and everything?

      You have to still use your mouse and keyboard when doing things in your computer. Immersed mainly acts like a virtual workspace with virtual monitors. I have no clue if it would be good for graphic design. You would have to check out videos detailing if the Quest 2 screens have accurate color representation. If you are doing basic things and that doesn't matter that much for you. Then yes I would recommend it. Also depends on your own eyes. Some people have issues reading text. I do not.

      @@julz5881 No bro, I came to a conclusion after some research and watched lot of videos, I don't think this will be a good option for graphic designing, Responsiveness depend on the the wifi speed it seems, and when it comes to colors, I don't recommend. Didn't buy, good for gaming and just normal works on workrooms :)

    Are you able to use premiere with out any lag or stuttering? Thinking about getting the quest pro for virtual desktop but want to make sure I can edit off my macbook pro with out lag.

      No lag with me. I was experiencing stuttering with Oculus because I was recording through the headset, and that's about it

    Can you please show writing on keyboard, productivity require typing. Is typing two lines really usable???

    • @thatsdoablevr
      @thatsdoablevr  Před rokem +1

      On the Ouest 2 it's hard if you aren't a professional typer and have the key positions memorized. Passthrough resolution is just too low. Quest Pro fixes that but at a heavy cost of 1500 dollars.

    This Meta Horizon Workroom, isn't it? Wish I could try this with my Pico 4. I have tried Virtual Desktop and Immersed. None of them really works effectively for office works. I mean, they do nothing but hurt my eyes and being really awkward PITA with peripherals. I really wanna be able to work properly with my headset. Ugh!
