this video didn't really explain why we have 2 parties...
Here's what has bugged me for years about this issue. How is a two party system indicative of a UNITED nation? Its INHERENTLY DIVISIVE, how can you have UNITY when you are of two different minds about EVERYTHING? How are you supposed to GOVERN when you can't even agree on who's HUMAN?
What are you suggesting?
I really wish the speaker would have answered the question asked in the title. It started off strong and then failed.
nice job, but didnt really answer the question
"Sounds good in theory, but didnt really work"
Oh yea? And why didn't it work, exactly?
Instability, and a less secure democracy when one person can win with less than 35% of the vote.
Here's some Google, "Some historians have suggested that two-party systems promote centrism and encourage political parties to find common positions which appeal to wide swaths of the electorate. It can lead to political stability which leads, in turn, to economic growth."
i know he didnt even talked about it
It's called controlled opposition nothing more than Criminal
It doesn't feel like a two party system anymore,it feels more like two classes of people as well as two sets of laws, the wealthy have one set and the working poor have a set that they're subjected to.
Didn't answer the question though lol
This didnt explain why we have a two party system
It's dangerous to our democracy for America to have more than 2 parties. Lobbying will get that much more difficult and either more money will need to be spent, or parties will receive less donations.
Oversight on donations would definitely be harder to manage.
coucou
I'd say this is just transhumanist propaganda.
What do you mean by that exactly?
