I have a stepson that is headed to prison cause he thinks it will give him clout but he don't understand what it's really like and he ain't built for prison. He runs his mouth to much and he can't backup the shit he talks. I told him that will get you killed in prison. They gonna extort him and try him out. He gonna end up getting turnt out. He don't understand the world he is about to enter if he keeps doing what he doing.

happy i came across your channel. my mother kinda lives near tampa, sarasota-bradenton area. but we’re from louisiana. my man did over 4 years in the LDCC. he’s still got 25 hanging over him. i’m so proud of him and men like you who get out there and do something good with your life. everybody has a past, but not everyone is capable of learning from that past. keep doing this. you have great content. i love true crime & prison youtube bc it has taught me a lot about what my man went thru. and why he does some of the things he does. we started talking 3 weeks after his release in 2017. he’s sooo different now than when we first met. he used to talk so loud & he had no clue he was doing it bc he was so used to talking in a dorm with over 100 other men that want to be heard too. he also didn’t like going to crowded spaces or in public in general. he’s gotten a lot better. i’m thankful as fuck to have people like you, willing to share your experiences so that i can understand a lot better what prison is truly like.

I'm 50 and was in and out of juvenile detention centers and spent from 18 until 21 down. The fears you talk about going in fresh are real. I can remember every transfer every new facility the banging the hollering fresh meat. The thoughts racing through your mind. Knowing what you got to do to survive. Then figuring it out and adapting to the environment. You stir up many memories that I've repressed for years. I got out had 2 kids worked a decent job, lived an honest life. As you say being a father changes your outlook. It's hard to go through that journey and the fit back into society. Feeling guilt for things done and punishing yourself for those actions. Now at 50 I have a resolve with my life and the way that I've lived it. I made amends years ago. I taught my son when he was growing up to not go down that road I did. That I did enough time for our family and that life wasn't for him. I didn't want him to go through that madness. Luckily he's in his mid 20s and never went into that life. Im proud of him and myself for steering his influence in a positive way. I appreciate you putting your knowledge down for our youth to hopefully follow in your gospel and not live that life. Nothing good comes from it, life sentences or death. And both affect more then just you, everyone around you family friends all feel the pain of your actions. Much love and respect #1090
